Assistant Accounting Manager Apply Now

Summary of Position:

Accounting & Finance professional to support the manufacturing site & subsidiary based in Cambodia.

Location; Phnom Penh, Cambodia. The Assistant Accounting Manager will be in charge accounting & finance function and general administration relating to Account Department.

Fluent in Thai/English/Khmer, or other language is a plus.

Duties
  • Compile and analyze financial information to prepare financial statement including monthly and annual accounts
  • Ensure financial records are maintained in compliance with accepted policies and procedures
  • Prepare financial management reports
  • Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year end close processes.
  • Resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities.
  • Continuous management and support of budget and forecast activities.
  • Monitor and support taxation requirements
  • Prepare for financial audit and coordinate the audit process
  • Manage accurate and appropriate recording and analysis of revenues and expenses
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations and integrity of financial data.
  • Prepare an accuracy and timely of prepaid and accrual expenses.
  • Monitor Account Payable voucher and AP payment
  • Prepare monthly Tax Declaration and Annual Tax Return.
  • Preparing and controlling overall budgetary spend for the subsidiary company in Phnom Penh (AEC)
  • Implement financial processes as per directions of Head Office

Requirements
  • Thai/Cambodia nationality
  • Bachelor or Master Degree in Accounting or related fields
  • 5-7 years of experiences in similar functions from manufacturing company
  • Advanced computer skills on MS Office, accounting software and databases
  • Knowledge in SAP is preferable
  • Knowledge of generally accepted accounting practices and principle
  • Knowledge of auditing practices and principles
  • Knowledge of applicable laws, codes and regulations
  • Good communication in Thai/English/and Khmer (if any)

This position is to support the manufacturing site as a part of our operation expansion.

Duties
  • The Human Resources Business Partner Manager will manage and lead the Cambodian Talent Attraction team to execute the full spectrum of recruiting activities and keep them abreast with current recruitment trends
  • Develops the overall resourcing strategy from both a recruitment and internal staffing perspective and provides leadership and guidance to recruiters in Thailand and Cambodia.
  • Lead and provide guidance to team members in order to ensure compliance to recruitment procedures and customer service standards
  • Acts as the functional expert and consultant to the Human Resources Manager and staff in the region on all resourcing activities which impact SVI’s ability to attract and retain high caliber employees
  • Responsible for facilitating the hire of critical resources and skilled resources in sites that have difficulty filling them locally.
  • He/she be responsible for planning and organizing international recruitment initiatives to support local strategic business needs.
  • Build partnership with education institutions and government agencies to drive talent attraction programs
  • Support and enable recruiting metrics to demonstrate the effectiveness and efficiencies recruiting solutions
  • Lead the team to maintain good relationship with Human Resources Director and handling payroll process and ensure that the payment are accuracy and completeness according to payment schedule
  • Manage and review Compensation and Benefits, Labour Relations.
  • Take care of labor issues and preventing the conflict between Labor with legal action.
  • Manage Thai or other foreigners VISA & Work Permit issue and all general administrative jobs

Requirements
  • Knowledge/Skills/Competencies:
  • Knowledge of Manufacturing Operations is an asset
  • Knowledge of Organization Development and Human Relations principles
  • Ability to assess candidate competencies, attributes and motivation through highly effective behavioral interviewing skills is a must
  • Ability to plan and organize major recruitment campaigns and programs such as campus recruitment events, open houses, on-line career fairs, employee referral programs, etc. is a must
  • Ability to consult with business leaders and managers about recruitment needs and to develop appropriate recruitment profiles/specifications
  • A track record of building strong positive relationships with recruitment suppliers, universities and external talent
  • Demonstrated ability to recruit for a broad/deep range of positions and to function/recruit on a national, multi-location level
  • Strong follow through and customer service orientation; skilled in negotiation, judgment and decision-making.
  • Qualification:
  • Minimum of 8 years’ experience in corporate recruitment and account management, at least 3 years of experience working with senior managers. Manufacturing exposure is highly desirable.
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field, or consideration of an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Well versed in Sourcing channels, staffing strategies, and negotiation skills
  • Experience in hiring of foreign nationals is essential as the position requires interfacing with government officials.
  • Fluent in English and Cambodia language communication both writing and speaking.
  • Proficient in using Computer and MS Office Program.

Summary of Position:

The Operations Manufacturing Manager will ensure successful accomplishment of electronics manufacturing processes in support of quality, cost and schedule objectives. The Operations Manufacturing Engineering Manager will participate as a member of an integrated product team for existing products and new product introduction.

Duties
  • Primary Duties and Responsibilities
  • Support high mix, low volume micro-Electronic assembly and test of fabless, high reliability semiconductor products
  • Address manufacturing challenges by troubleshooting issues and providing solutions in a timely manner
  • Participate in determining and providing an optimum plan of operation, equipment, space requirements, and related facilities for assigned areas.
  • Coordinate outside repair and maintenance services for production equipment by following manufacturer's instructions and established procedures and requesting service as needed
  • Lead and help manage the production floor including equipment, employees and subcontractors
  • Provide manufacturing personnel with training and technical guidance
  • Develop and implement lean initiatives to improve operational efficiency
  • Develop metrics to drive continuous improvement of the manufacturing process
  • Develop/Review/Revise work instructions and procedures in support of manufacturing processes
  • Support internal, 3rd party and vendor audits
  • Resolve manufacturing constraints to ensure accurate and consistent assembly and test performance
  • Assist in the resolution of supply chain issues impacting manufacturing as well as supplier feedback, selection and technical assistance
  • Manage resources and provide status information and feedback to internal customers and managers.

  • Supervisory Responsibilities:
  • Directs, coordinates and evaluates production personnel. Carries out leadership responsibilities in accordance to company policies, procedures, safety, and applicable laws.
  • Will interview, hire, and train employees; plan, assist, and direct work; appraise performance; reward and discipline employees; address complaints and resolve problems.
  • Meets with appropriate staff on a timely basis for performance evaluations and goal setting.
  • Develops an atmosphere that encourages employee participation.
  • Motivates and counsel employees in preserving an efficient and productive workplace.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with 10+ years’ experience in Operations Management in the electronics manufacturing/industrial setting.
  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience as a Manufacturing or Process Engineer in electronics manufacturing, including assembly and test.
  • Solid background in electronics assembly and test processes
  • Proven record of analyzing manufacturing / support processes and driving continuous improvement
  • Demonstrated ability to proactively identify opportunities to improve performance, develop targets and action plans and lead an organization to achieve results
  • Identify and positively influence key stakeholders to enable proactive problem solving and resolution.
  • Excels at yield analysis and failure analysis leading to root cause and effective corrective actions
  • Develop programs which improve quality and process efficiencies
  • Proficient in use of standard Microsoft Office products in producing data-driven reports
  • Demonstrated ability to efficiently and effectively monitor operations with excellent communication (verbal and written) and presentation skills
  • Results driven, analytical, self-motivated, detail oriented with ability to logically identify alternate solutions or approaches to complex problems
  • Working knowledge of state and federal EHS regulations.
  • Drive employee engagement and organizational health
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to establish effective working relationships with all levels of management and team members.
  • Project management and negotiating skills are required.
  • Government Security Clearance is a plus
