IOM Cambodia provides support to strengthen institutional capacity for effective migration management, health promotion and assistance for migrants, and humanitarian emergency response, including disaster risk reduction. In recent crises, such as the mass return of over 250,000 Cambodians from Thailand, IOM coordinated with local authorities and NGOs to provide food, water, health care, and safe transportation for vulnerable migrants, particularly women and children.
