Announcement Description

Cambodia has made significant progress in expanding access to drinking water services. However, many rural and peri-urban water supply systems continue to face challenges related to climate variability, seasonal water scarcity, infrastructure limitations, operational efficiency, and investment readiness. To support the Royal Government of Cambodia's commitment to achieving universal access to safely managed drinking water by 2030, MISTI, with support from UNICEF, is strengthening technical assistance for the planning, design, rehabilitation, and supervision of climate-resilient water supply infrastructure nationwide.

Position Summary

Locations: Phnom Penh and Provinces under Project

Assignment Duration: 12 months (with possible extension)

The Department of Technics & Project Management (D/TPM) of the General Department of Potable Water (GD/WAT) invites Expressions of Interest from qualified national individual consultants to provide long-term technical support services for climate-resilient water supply systems. Assignments may include feasibility studies, detailed engineering design, system assessment and diagnostics, rehabilitation and expansion planning, construction supervision, business planning, financing support, and other technical services for both new system development and upgrading of existing systems, as defined in the Terms of Reference (TOR), which can be found at the link or can be obtained at the address given below.

The duration of the contract is 12 months (with possible extension).
