Farm Owner's Assistant

Position Circumstances

Position Summary

Starting Date: As soon as possible

You will act as their direct representative and strategic advisor. You are not just an administrator; you are an internal consultant. You will analyze daily operations, plan future expansions, and proactively suggest data-driven solutions to improve farm efficiency and profitability.

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Planning & Consulting: Act as an internal consultant to the Farm Manager. Help design Lean farming workflows, plan seasonal crop cycles, and optimize resource allocation.
  • Proactive Suggesting: Analyze daily KPI data to identify bottlenecks before they become critical. Proactively suggest actionable, data-driven solutions to the executive owners.
  • Executive Oversight: Audit daily farm operations, ensuring that the Farm Manager and all teams are strictly following the established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Data, Finance & Logistics: Track high-level financial data, payroll, and farm expenses. Act as the primary contact for major external suppliers and negotiate bulk purchases.

Expected Profile of Candidates
Languages:

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Agribusiness, Management, Finance, or a related field
Work History:
  • Business operations, management consulting, or project management for 2 to 3 years as a minimum
Skills & Knowledge:
General & Technical Skills
  • Strong analytical and strategic consulting skills; ability to identify operational flaws and design solutions.
  • Exceptional communication skills to mediate between field staff (Khmer) and executive owners.
Soft Skills
  • High degree of integrity and trustworthiness; you are managing the owners' direct interests.
 
 

Farm Manager

Position Circumstances

Position Summary

Starting Date: As soon as possible

The primary executive on the ground, responsible for overall daily farm operations, production, and task delegation across all crop and animal divisions.

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Overall Operations & Task Delegation: Lead the daily briefing, assign production targets, and delegate daily operations to the Team Leads.
  • Agronomy & Quality Control: Monitor overall crop and animal health, and serve as the final inspector at the loading zone.
  • Harvest & Workflow Management: Execute the daily harvest strategy based on variable truck dispatch schedules and adapt operations to logistical changes.
  • Inventory Control: Manage the secure supply room, including seeds, natural organic treatments, and fuel mixing.

  • Deep technical knowledge of strictly organic farming practices, spanning both vegetable/fruit agronomy and animal husbandry.
  • Proven ability to manage a team of 30+ workers through subordinate Team Leads.
 
 

Team Lead and Lot Manager

Position Summary

We already have a dedicated Team Lead for our Livestock division. We are now looking for a highly skilled technical supervisor to manage our Crops & Vegetables division. You must not only supervise but fully understand how to cultivate crops from seed to harvest.

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • End-to-End Crop Management: Apply strong technical agronomy skills to oversee the entire lifecycle of crops and vegetables, from seed propagation and soil preparation to daily maintenance and final harvest.
  • Field Supervision & Execution: Direct the Earthworks, Green Care, and Harvest Squads. Assign specific rows, distribute tools, and proactively troubleshoot any agronomic issues in the field.
  • KPI Tracking: Actively record the daily output of each worker using standard tracking clipboards.
  • Daily Reset: Enforce the shutdown routine. Ensure all machinery is washed and refueled.

  • Strong Technical Knowledge: Must deeply understand how to grow, maintain, and troubleshoot crops and vegetables from start to finish, not just supervise workers.
Soft Skills
  • High physical stamina and willingness to work directly in the field alongside the crew.
  • A problem-solving mindset focused on helping workers overcome obstacles.
