Industrial Bank of Korea (IBK) is a Government owned bank which was established in 1961 with the purpose of supporting Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs). Being the number 1 player in Korean SME financing market, the Bank plans to not only maintain, but also to strengthen its leadership in the segment.

Currently, we employ more than 13,916 staff, we have 597 branches and 31 depositary office in Korea, 9 branches and 2 offices overseas. Other oversea branches include London, New Dehli, Ho Chi Minh, Hanoi, Hong Kong, Tokyo, New York, Manila, and Phnom Penh.

As part of the Bank’s plan to utilize its SME financing know-how and unique financial services to expand the oversea network and build the foundations for an exciting new future, the Bank had on 11 December 2018 opened its first branch in Phnom Penh (the Branch of Industrial Bank of Korea “Phnom Penh”) after obtaining the official banking license as a Commercial Bank from the National Bank of Cambodia on 22 October 2018 and plans to expand its branch network in the Kingdom in the coming year.

Position Summary

The position is for Credit Department

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Meet clients to promote Bank’s products
  • Grow business by creating effective referral networks and build relationship with key business contacts
  • Plan, strategy, marketing  to fulfill target assigned
  • Collect and evaluate supporting documents to process new loan account opening
  • Resolving customer complaint
  • Continually build knowledge awareness to promote bank’s products and services
  • Assist others where needed and perform other duties assigned by the manager

Expected Profile of Candidates
Languages:
  • English - Good is preferred
  • Chinese - Simplified - Good is preferred
  • Korean - Good is preferred
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in any field, however in banking, marketing or related field  is preferred
Work History:
  • At least working experience in loan marketing, preferably in banking or financial industry for 2 years
Skills & Knowledge:
General & Technical Skills
  • Good command of written and spoken English, Chinese, Korean language is a plus
  • Computer literacy (Word, Excel, Internet & Email)
Soft Skills
  • Strong customer service and proactive  sales-oriented personality
  • A strong desire to work as a team
  • Willing to travel to meet customers
