- Complete Financial Operations Management
- Manage all daily accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and maintain comprehensive financial records
- Process journal entries, adjustments, and ensure accurate financial data entry
- Handle tax compliance, including Cambodia e-tax filing and monthly tax preparations
- Manage petty cash, staff advances, and operational payment processing
- Advanced Financial Analysis & Reporting
- Prepare detailed financial reports for management and board presentation
- Conduct variance analysis and provide insights on financial performance
- Support budget preparation and monitoring processes
- Assist with audit preparation and coordinate with external auditors
- Maintain compliance with IFRS, CFRS, and local regulatory requirements
- Compliance & Quality Assurance
- Ensure compliance with Australian (ACNC, ACFID, ANCP) and Cambodian regulations
- Maintain accurate documentation for donor reporting and audit requirements
- Implement and monitor internal financial controls and procedures
- Support grant accounting and multi-currency transaction management
- Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience
- Cambodia e-tax filing system proficiency
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and office administration
- Experience with accounting IT systems and management reporting
- Highly Preferred:
- NGO/Non-profit sector experience
- Multi-currency accounting and donor fund management experience
- Xero accounting system knowledge
- IFRS and CFRS compliance knowledge
- Familiarity with financial automation tools and AI-assisted accounting
- Personal Qualities:
- Leadership potential with the ability to work independently
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication skills in both Khmer and English
- Detail-oriented with high accuracy standards
- Adaptable and eager to learn new technologies and processes
