Employer Description

The Cambodian Health Committee (CHC) is a local NGO, non-profit and non-sectorial organization which was established in 1994 and CHC is focused on access and delivery of care and discovery of new knowledge and approaches to cure and/or treat tuberculosis (TB), Multiple Drug Resistance TB (MDR-TB) and scale up MDR-TB and TB DOTS at health facilities and communities in both urban and rural health care in Cambodia.

Under USAID funding of Community Mobilization Initiatives to End Tuberculosis 2 (COMMIT2), led by KHANA in partnership with Cambodian Health Committee (CHC), Center for Health and Social Development (HSD) and Cambodia Anti-Tuberculosis Association (CATA) aims to address tuberculosis (TB) diagnosis, treatment, and prevention needs, addressing stigma and discrimination, using responses tailored to populations and communities in Cambodia. COMMIT2 is a program jointly developed to improve access to high-quality, person-centered TB, Drug Resistant-TB, and TB/HIV services, strengthen TB service delivery platform, reduce TB disease transmission and progression, and accelerate TB research and innovations with improved impact on program implementation. COMMIT2 is designed to implement under 5 years of USAID funding project from October 2024 to September 2029.
