Climate Adaptive Irrigation and Sustainable Agriculture for Resilience (CAISAR) Project

The Royal Government of Cambodia is implementing the Climate Adaptive Irrigation and Sustainable Agriculture for Resilience (CAISAR) Project, financed by the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB), with co-financing from the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) and the Green Climate Fund (GCF). The total project cost is estimated at approximately USD 240 million. The Project aims to strengthen climate resilience, reduce the impacts of floods, droughts and other climate-related risks, and improve the livelihoods of smallholder farmers and vulnerable rural communities.
