Nak Akphivath Sahakum

NAS was established in May 1997 and gained formal recognition in June 1997 from the Provincial Governor, Kampong Cham province. We were registered with the Ministry of Interior in September 1999 and re-registered as an organization in October 2010 and as to contribution to our strategic planning NAS has been implement with three project/ program that focusing on (i) Good governance sector (ii) Agricultural sector & (ii) Health sector.

On 2017, NAS has been funding by USAID through EWMI to implementing one project as calling ‘ Promote Expression and Citizens’ Empowerments (PEACE)’.This a project also will establishment in 81 villages , 09 communes , three districts in Kampong Cham, Thbong Khmom & Kra Tei provinces (Ray Bay, Prekkoy & Shdao communes in Kampong Meas district, Kampong Cham province, Chhloung , Damrei Phong & Han Chey of Kratei province and Chong Cheach, Kouk Srok & Trapeang Pring communes, Dambae district, Thbong Khmom province with one goal : To expand citizen’s engagement in the political process, with particular attention paid to engaging women, youth & vulnerable people in three provinces by building capacity, opportunity for effective expression and engagement in local decision making.
