Rainbow Community Kampuchea

RAINBOW COMMUNITY KAMPUCHEA (ROCK) is a Cambodian non-government organization dedicated for supporting LGBT+ rights in Cambodia. RoCK works closely with LGBT communities and respective local authorities across the country to ensure long-term protection and support of equal rights and acceptance for LGBT people and their families.

Rainbow Community Kampuchea (RoCK)’s two main programs are Organising LGBT community in all 25 provinces and cities in Cambodia, and Advocacy and Awareness Raising. RoCK programming is based on informed, participatory, and evolving processes. In February 2014, after we formally registered as a Non-Governmental Organisation, we started with a large-scope baseline study to objectively verify and understand the situation of the LGBT population in Cambodia. In 2016, with the information and results gathered, we focused on facilitating and consulting with our members and partners in identifying priorities for the future strategic scope of RoCK.
