Part of signed work plan for 2019-2020 with UNICEF, Ministry of Interior (MOI) works with Ministry of Economy and Finance (MEF) and Ministry of Planning (MOP) to build the capacity of Sub-National Administrations (SNA) to plan, formulate budget and increase investment in social services and children.

Guidelines on SNA planning and budgeting developed, menu of options for social investment and social service implementation manual (SSIM) issued and dissemination rolled out. In strengthening the progress/results made in the past years, MOI and UNICEF planned to strengthen capacity of national team from MOI, MOP and MEF so that they could support Capital/ Provincial Administrations (CPA) and in turn it is expected that CPA will support the District/ Municipality Administrations (DM) and Commune/ Sangkats (CS) better.
