Heart to Heart Foundation

Founded in 1988 Heart to Heart Foundation is a non-governmental organization, that HQ is located in Seoul, South Korea, working on the front line of health and well-being with diverse partners to ensure the right to health for the most vulnerable people by strengthening primary health systems and encouraging healthy behaviors. Heart to Heart Foundation’s Non-Communicable Diseases (NCD) Program has been launched in Korea since 1988 and in Cambodia since 2006 to support children with heart diseases. In Cambodia, we’ve worked for children with heart diseases a part of NonCommunicable Diseases (NCD) program for 7 years since 2006. Based on our 7 years experiences in heart diseases treatments plus 10 years working on primary health system strengthening for eye health in Siem Reap, Heart to Heart Foundation Cambodia is ready to start new NCD project in Thma Koul OD, Battambang this year. Our goal is to improve access to prevention, screening, treatment and care for NCDs and we target diabetes and hypertension by using the protocols based on WHO Package of Essential NCD Interventions (WHO PEN) for primary care in Developing Countries.
