We are currently recruiting a Youth Nutrition Intern to provide essential support to the Youth Nutrition Champion Office, ensuring effective programs and the delivery of high-quality.
This is a local national recruitment. The position is based in Phnom Penh and requires regular travel to project sites if needed.
FUNCTIONAL RELATIONSHIPS
The Youth Nutrition Intern will be employed by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and seconded to Helen Keller Cambodia, where they will be supervised by the Youth Engagement and Communications Lead. They will work closely with Helen Keller’s communication team and stakeholders such as iDE, government partners NCHP and NMCHC, as well as the youth nutrition champions.
- Under the guidance of the Youth Engagement and Communications Lead, the intern will:
- Support the facilitation of monthly Technical Working Group for SBCC meetings for healthy diet and breastfeeding campaigns with partners, including NCHP, NMCHC, iDE, and other subnational stakeholders.
- Assist with the organization and logistics arrangements of workshops, technical working group meetings, and dissemination events.
- Work with the Communications team for travel arrangements for field activities such as message testing, content pretesting, and campaign monitoring.
- Assist in the development, editing, and translation of IEC/SBCC materials, including posters, banners, TV spots, and Call-tune messages.
- Contribute to progress reporting, meeting minutes, and documentation of campaign activities.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

- English is preferred
- Bachelor's Degree
- Undergraduate Degree in 4th year in the university in communication, media, public health, nutrition, or other related fields.
- Some experience in communication, media content creation, or community engagement preferred.
- Interest in nutrition, healthy eating, social behaviour changes communication (SBCC)
- Proficiency in Khmer (English an advantage).
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with government partners and local stakeholders.
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Willingness to travel to the province when required.

We are currently recruiting a Food System Intern to provide essential support to the Transforming Lives Through Nutrition Programs, ensuring effective programs and the delivery of high-quality.
This is a local national recruitment. The position is based in Takeo and Kampong Thom Provinces and requires regular travel to project sites.
FUNCTIONAL RELATIONSHIPS
The Food System Interns will be employed by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and seconded to Helen Keller Cambodia, where they will be supervised by the Nutrition Sensitive Agriculture Lead. Throughout the internship, they will work closely with Helen Keller’s country office staff and partner organizations and may interact with program clients.
- Under the guidance of the Nutrition Sensitive Agriculture Lead (NSAL) and with support from the country team, the intern will:
- Assist the NSAL in developing weekly, monthly, and annual work plans as requested.
- Support the preparation and organization of meetings, workshops, and other related events.
- Contribute to the preparation of reports, meeting minutes, and project documentation, including case studies.
- Provide administrative and logistical support such as drafting letters, typing and translating documents, organizing project materials, and processing travel advance and transportation requests.
- Conduct field visits to provide technical support and coaching to CAOs on nutrition-sensitive agriculture practices.
- Conduct spot-checks with target households to ensure they receive support from CAOs according to the project plan.
- Support CAOs in delivering nutrition-sensitive agriculture training to households with children under five, particularly those with SAM/MAM cases, as well as to schools.
- Promote climate-resilient and nutrient-rich food production at household and school levels.
- Assist CAOs in conducting village mapping to identify households with home gardens, SAM/MAM cases, water sources, latrines, and other relevant infrastructure.
- Prepare and submit weekly and monthly progress reports to the Nutrition-Sensitive Agriculture Lead.
- Support data collection and monitoring of INAS interventions as required.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
- Khmer - Fluent
- Bachelor's Degree in , fresh graduate, or final year in horticulture, agriculture, or a related field.
- Some experience working with government officials at the sub-national level, particularly in the agriculture sector.
- Proficiency in speaking and writing in Khmer.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with local authorities and partners.
- Willing to travel to and stay in the remote/rural areas.
