Announcement Description

The Youth Resource Development Program (YRDP) formally initiated in October 1992 and legally registered with the Ministry of the Interior (MoI) in 1999 in the field of civic and peace education, and youth empowerment. The main goal of YRDP is to empower youth to become inform, active and responsible citizens by taking concrete initiatives and motivating other people for promoting sustainable peace, justice and a democratic society.

Currently, we are seeking for two Cambodian national candidates to fulfil the vacant positions below:

Youth Investment for Employment and Leadership Development Program Assistant

Position Circumstances

Position Summary

This position is expected to start as soon as possible.

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Support Project Officer to organize youth forum, dialogue and training that promote better access to Social Protection and Labor rights,
  • Mobilize youth (especially working youth in agri-food sector) for participation in program activities,
  • Identify and form youth groups,
  • Facilitate and monitor volunteers to work on promotion of descent/living wage and labor rights,
  • Produce activity report and partly assist in writing mid-term and annual reports for the program,
  • Assist program in preparing cash advance and settlement for activities implementation,
  • Coordinate logistics and other administrative works for smooth program implementations,
  • Perform other tasks as/may assign by Program Manager and ED,
Requirements:
  • Bachelor degree in economics, business administration, social work, law or related field,
  • One years of work experience in relevant field as mentioned above,
  • Experience working in food services sector is highly preferred,
  • Experience in coordinating networks and/or mobilizing youth for social development activities,
  • Good communication both Khmer and English,
  • Good English writing and speaking skills,
  • Strong interpersonal skills and passion to work with youth,
  • Well organized and able to meet deadlines,
  • Ability to work independently and as a team,
  • Able to work on weekend and holidays with frequent travels to target provinces,
  • Computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Internet, etc.).
 
 

Information Technology Officer

Position Circumstances

Position Summary

This position is expected to start as soon as possible. 

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • System Administration 
  • Configure, administer, and maintain all IT equipment used by YRDP. 
  • Manage the organization’s network infrastructure, including servers, workstations, telephones, printers, routers and switches. 
  • Carry out routine system troubleshooting, maintenance, and software/hardware upgrades. 
  • Develop and implement system backup and disaster recovery plans. 
  • Monitor server backup tasks and set up new IT equipment as necessary. 
  • Provide daily technical IT support and user training to staff as needed. 
  • Coordinate with internet service providers (ISPs) and IT vendors to ensure stable internet and service continuity. 
  • Manage user accounts, system permissions, and email services via Microsoft 365 or others as required. 
  • Website and Digital Platforms 
  • Maintain and update the official YRDP website, ensuring appropriate security measures are in place. 
  • Upload announcements and other content in collaboration with the communications team or project team. 
  • Coordinate with the website hosting provider to ensure availability and technical support. 
  • Support the integration and use of digital platforms that aid program delivery and outreach. 
  • IT Support and Capacity Building 
  • Conduct regular IT training sessions for staff on cybersecurity, digital tools, and data privacy practices. 
  • Develop and revise remote work protocols and digital tool usage guidelines. 
  • Support the adoption of new digital platforms for program implementation, advocacy, research, and youth engagement. 
  • Assist project team in resolving digital or technical issues. 
  • Procurement and Asset Management 
  • Participate in the ICT procurement process to ensure compliance and cost-effectiveness. 
  • Maintain an accurate inventory of all ICT assets for internal use and auditing purposes. 
  • Ensure that all ICT purchases follow YRDP procurement policies and offer value for money. 
  • Coordination and Other Duties 
  • Coordinate with the finance and admin teams for ICT-related payments and budget planning. 
  • Assist in documentation and reporting related to IT tasks and improvements. 
  • Provide timely IT support for outreach events, training sessions, youth forums, and workshops. 
  • Promote a positive, solution-oriented IT culture within the organization. 
  • Participate in organization’s workshops and activities. 
  • Other tasks assigned by the supervisor 
Requirements:
  • BA in a related field such IT infrastructure, software development, web development, network engineering or any relevant field. 
  • At least two years’ experience in IT related field as full-time staff 
  • Experience in writing reports is preferred 
  • Good teamwork and highly motivated to work directly with university youth or youth at higher education institute 
  • Excellent communication and critical thinking skills 
  • Ability to work independently 
  • Willingness to question and change one's own ideas and habits 
  • Good at interpersonal skills: Communication, problem-solving, facilitation, time and task management with high morale, and good characteristics 
  • Good at writing and speaking for both English and Khmer
