Teuk Saat 1001 is a NGO, established in 2007. Our main mission is to develop water kiosks in the rural communities to improve the access of safe drinking water in a sustainable manner.

Teuk Saat 1001 has been dedicated for more than 15 years in providing safe drinking water.

The role of Teuk Saat 1001, besides developing station, is to support the entrepreneurs by providing a range of services such as technical support, monthly water quality monitoring and personalized coaching.

Today, through a network of 900 entrepreneurs, operating 342 kiosks in Cambodia, in 18 provinces, O-We (brand of Teuk Saat 1001) is serving, on the daily basis, we serve more than 1 million beneficiaries, including 376,000 schoolchildren, who receive safe water for free in 1000 primary schools across 18 provinces

Teuk Saat 1001 as the local partner of the French non-profit 1001fontaines. 1001fontaines is also active in Madagascar, Vietnam and Myanmar.

Position Summary

Directly report to: Water Quality Supervisor

Expectations - Duties, Responsibilities

Routine micro-biological and chemical analysis of water from all of the water production sites in the region.
Ensure the water sample to conduct a microbiology test within 24 hours and flexible to work on holiday by using the other day for compensation.
Organize logistic for water sampling and analysis.
Maintain and inventory of all laboratory equipment and lab consumables, including maintaining equipment, spare material to conduct tests etc.
Maintain and develop the laboratory independently and with support from the Water Quality manager to ensure that the lab meets the most exacting International Standards.
Follow-up quality documentation of laboratory as required; update procedures, operating instructions, equipment guide etc.
Conduct research activity in the lab as per request from Management
Support and provide training to the site operators and their support staff to ensure that the water quality is maintained, both in the lab and on-site
Make appropriate plan and intervention of controlling Water quality at production sites, including interventions, ensuring sanitation etc.
Report site problems identified by the water quality analysis to the Water Quality Manager, including any significant variations of the water quality standard test results, as well as corrective actions.
Deliver and update documentation for the water quality control as sites, including Monthly, Quarterly and annual reports to Water Quality Manger and Platform Manager
