Purpose of the Job

The Community Center Team offers children and teenagers a program with a variety of activities at the ICF Campus such as Education, Sports, Creative and a youth club. The aim is to give children and young people a meaningful leisure activity and to promote their talents and gifts. Building relationships with them is one of the main tasks of the Community Center Team.

Duties
  • Office tasks:

  • Create and plan Sport Units for Kids and Teenager in Cooperation with the Social Staff
  • Establishing contacts with sport clubs, NGOs, schools

Pool activities offers include open swimming and play time, hang out area, swimming lessons, events and more. The aim is to give children and young people a meaningful leisure activity and to promote their talents and gifts.

Duties
  • Office tasks:
  • Create and plan activities and responsibilities with your Team
  • Fulfill all the required office work according to the offers at the lake
  • Field Task:
  • Professional relationship building with children and teenagers
  • Teach the kids the rules of the Pool.
  • Teach children to swim.
  • Make sure that the rules are respected.
  • Teach the kids how to wear the life jacket, use all related equipment and facilities.
  • Keep the Pool and shoreline clean.

Purpose of the Job

The Activities Team offers children and teenagers a program a meaningful leisure activity and to promote their talents and gifts. Building relationships with them is one of the main tasks of the Activities Team.

The following activities are offered at the ICF Campus: Education (Khmer, Life Skills Class), Sports, Creative/ Arts and a Lake.

Job on Saturday evening and Sunday morning

  • During Playtime: Lead a Game station at Youth - and Kids Church
  • During Celebration and Small Groups: Supervise children and lead Small Groups
  • Interact and engage with young people at Youth- and Kids Church: Build relationships with children/teenagers coming to Youth - and Kids Church, invite children/teenagers to the ICF Campus, talk with them personally

Important:

  • To work in the ICF Community Team, flexibility is required. The team works 40 hours a day for 6 days and there are many activities in the evenings, as the children and young people have time at this time. 
  • In addition, the team works on public holidays and is helped out in the different areas. The days can be compensated individually. 
  • The team works closely with the Church Department and helps with all important church events and camps

  • Project 1: Campus Development
  • Training of external/internal teachers for interactive and creative teaching units where children can learn with all their senses
  • Prepare, create and plan interactively Life Skill Classes for Kids and Teenager with the team
  • Teach the students based on the developed Life Skills curriculum with the team
  • Coordinate and establishing contacts with external Teachers, NGOs, Schools, relevant department officers
  • Evaluation of the visitors on the ICF Community Campus and resulting educational offers
  • Develop new education offers on the Community Campus based on the needs of the children and teenager

Requirements
  • At least holding a Bachelor Degree in the area of Education/ Social Work
  • 1 or 2 years experiencing on teaching and social work with the communities

  • Good level of computer skill (Word - Excel - Powerpoint)
  • Ability to plan, teaching, facilitation and think creativity
