Scope of Work 

Contractor will report to CHAI Program Manager (PM), Sivantha Hul, for the duration of this Agreement, with day-to-day tasks assigned by CHAI Senior Associate, Stanton Hor, and CHAI technical advisor, Emi Okamoto. 

Project Goals:

CHAI is supporting the National Center for HIV/AIDS, Dermatology, and STDs (NCHADS) to improve the quality of care for HIV patients and improve ARV monitoring system.

Contractor Deliverable

The contractor will be asked to develop the excel-based dashboard which serves as the ARV monitoring tool, and provide an orientation on the manual to the end users (NCHADS and CHAI).

  • Specific tasks:
  • Dashboard development: Dashboard should be able to receive inputs of data (R & R form) from ART sites which provide consumption, stock-on-hand and patient data. The dashboard should have the capability to explain and represent the outputs in a months-of-stock format for ease of viewing. Representing an ART site and ARV formulation stock status.
  • Dashboard should also contain the flexibility to account for introductions of new ARV formulations and especially ARV transitions.
  • Patient data: Each R & R form contains patient data which should also be consolidated from all 69 ART sites and represented in a summarized format.
  • Although the development of the dashboard can be done using any preferred software by the consultant. The preference is to use Microsoft Excel given the limited computer literacy of NCHADS staff who would be managing the tool going forward.
  • The prototype presentation to LMU staff should involve demonstrating the inputs from the R & R form and the calculated outputs for display. LMU staff can then determine how much stock to distribute to the sites. A final version of the Site level dashboard should completed by the stipulated deadline mentioned in deliverable D
  • On-going support will be required by LMU staff to ensure complete understanding and utilization of the dashboard.
