- Core Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of the school's financial accounting system, including the general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
- Manage the issuance and collection of tuition and other school fees, ensuring:
- Agreed fee structures are implemented accurately and clearly communicated to parents during invoicing.
- Timely generation of invoices.
- Efficient collection of payments and processing of refunds.
- Proactive follow-up on outstanding fees in line with established procedures agreed with the admissions and senior leadership teams.
- Production of timely reports on follow-up outcomes, with arrangement of meetings with relevant teams where further action is required.
- Ensure staff are paid accurately and on time for additional duties performed by involving in payroll processes.
- Prepare comprehensive financial reports, including budgets, variance analyses, and financial statements; this may involve preparing income and expenditure analysis.
- Maintain robust internal controls and ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
- Liaise with external auditors throughout the audit process.
- Periodically reviewing the control process, design and formulate policies to strength the controls;
- Provide expert financial advice and guidance to school administration on matters such as budgeting, resource allocation, and financial planning.
- Ensure strict adherence to rules on sharing financial information as outlined in the department handbook.
- Additional Responsibilities:
- Oversee accounts payable for school supplies, utilities, and other operational expenses.
- Manage petty cash and other school funds.
- Reconcile bank statements to maintain financial accuracy.
- Supervise and mentor accounting staff.
- Experience in a similar accounting role, preferably within the education sector for 3 to 5 years as a minimum
- A relevant professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
- Proven experience in managing accounts payable and receivable.
- Hands-on experience with payroll processing.
- Experience in budgeting and financial forecasting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, or similar systems used in educational settings).
- Knowledge of relevant financial regulations or policy in the education sector.
- Candidate with less experience will be considered as Assistant Accounting Manager.

Job Description
The Admissions Officer plays a key role in supporting the recruitment and enrollment of students at Shrewsbury International School Phnom Penh. This individual will be responsible for handling enquiries, meeting with parents, guiding families through the admissions process, and ensuring a seamless and positive experience for prospective parents and students. The ideal candidate should be customer-focused, detail-oriented, and passionate about education. The successful candidate will also be flexible to meet the needs of our growing school and support the Admissions and Marketing Manager closely in the whole scope of both departments' work.
- Admissions & Enrollment
- Respond to inquiries from prospective families via phone, email, and in-person meetings.
- Provide accurate and timely information about the school, curriculum, admission requirements, and application procedures.
- Guide families through the entire admissions journey, from initial inquiry to enrollment.
- Schedule and conduct school tours, meetings, and assessments for prospective students.
- Assist in processing applications, verifying documents, and coordinating entry assessments.
- Maintain accurate records of student applications and admission status in the school database.
- Reach key performance indicators (KPIs) on a termly basis to ensure departmental goals are met.

Role Purpose
The Marketing Officer is a crucial member of the Marketing team, primarily responsible for the execution of the school's digital content strategy, event management, and supporting lead generation efforts. This role ensures consistent and high-quality communication of the Shrewsbury brand and educational excellence to prospective parents and the wider community.
- Content Creation & Digital Management (Online/Offline)
- Generate High-Quality Content: Create engaging, relevant, and brand-aligned content across various formats, including news articles, blog posts, social media updates, email newsletters, and website copy.
- Social Media Management: Plan, schedule, and execute daily posts across all key social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Telegram), ensuring content is optimized for each channel and drives engagement.
- Creative Asset Development: Coordinate the creation and selection of visual assets (photos and videos) with internal teams and external agencies to ensure a consistent, professional visual identity.
