Morisonkak MKA known as MKA, was established in 1996 by Cambodian nationals coming back to the country following the end of long and painful civil conflicts.

Founder of MKA, Key KAK is a holder of a French State diploma “diplôme d’expertise comptable” and of a Master degree in Economics. He has acquired solid and reliable experiences in managing accounting, auditing and consulting firms in France since 1989.

In 1999, MKA joined the Morison International network, a worldwide grouping of certified public accountants, auditors, lawyers and business advisors ranked top 10 among the international network of its kind, having currently more than 300 offices in more than 65 countries and territories around the world. Morison International head office is located in London, United Kingdom.

Although we are member of the Morison International network, we still maintain our local brand name, autonomy and independence as a Cambodian owned and responsive auditing and accounting Firm responsible for our own client fee arrangements, our own delivery of services, and our own privilege of client relationships. As a local firm, decisions are made at the local level, so clients never have to wait for an answer from a remote country made by people with no direct involvement with their account.

Announcement Positions

Accounting and Tax Manager

Expectations - Duties, Responsibilities
  • Review accounting staff bookkeeping and working paper, data entries, financial statements and monthly and annual tax returns prepared by the tax and accounting staff.
  • Act as resource for accounting and tax staff, manager.
  • Performs complex accounting and tax research.
  • Prepare research memoranda, written correspondence and guidance, and other documents for management account for clients and for tax submission to the GDT.
  • Prepare tax planning and estimates and becomes involved in planning for more complex clients
  • Directs and coordinate tax planning for less complex client situations.
  • Assist accounting and consulting staff members in client meeting.
  • Represent client before the GDT.
  • Delegate work to tax and accounting staff and supervise their work.
  • Assumes the responsibility for the smooth flow of tax returns
  • Establish good working relationship with all partner and all staff members
  • Trains and supervise staff, reviews and evaluations their work, coordinate the variety​​ of training related to accounting areas.
  • Attend professional development and training session on regular basic.
  • Perform other job-related duties as necessary.
  • Ability to work additional hours as needed and travel to various client.
 
 

Senior Accounting and Tax

  • Attend professional development and training sessions on a regular basis.
  • Perform other job-related duties as necessary.

Audit Manager

Position Summary

Report to: Senior Audit Manager/ General Manager/ Partner

Expectations - Duties, Responsibilities
  • Manage engagements by defining the audit strategy in consultation with the senior manager/partner, and execute it in compliance with Ernst & Young's policies and protocols
  • Execute complex audit procedures and lead teams, or parts of teams on engagements, depending on the size of the engagement
  • Actively establish, maintain and strengthen internal and external relationships and confirm that work delivered to clients is a high quality
  • Anticipate and identify risks and escalate issues, as appropriate
  • Create a positive learning culture and coach and counsel junior team members and support them in their personal and p

Senior Auditor

Position Summary

Report to: Audit Supervisor and Audit Manager

Expectations - Duties, Responsibilities
  • Adhere to highest degree of professional standards and strict client’s confidentiality.
  • Manage, direct, and monitor client service teams on multiple engagement. Plan, execute, direct, and complete external audits in a wide variety of industries, and mange to budget.
  • Understand and manage firm risk on audit and proposal.
  • Develop computer expertise including knowledge of audit-preparation software and understanding of the impact of technology.
  • Manage, develop, train, and mentor staff on project and assesse performance for engagement and year-end reviews
  • Perform quality audit reviews on financial statements.
  • Maintain active communication with client to manage expectation ensure satisfaction, make sure dateline are met, and lead change efforts effectively.
  • Consult, work with, and service client base to make recommendations on business and process improvement and serve as a business advice to clients.
  • Work closely with partner, manager and staff to integrate practice development skills into a team approach to client service and new business development.
  • Team up with partners and manger on proposals and business development calls.
  • Maintain strong client relation and cross-sell service within the assigned group of clients.
  • Assist partner in recruiting and retaining senior auditors and assistant auditors.
  • Coach assistant auditors in developing and achieving goals and objectives for performance and professional development
