Consultation to Lead the Collection of Community Socio-economic, Wellbeing, and Governance Data

Objectives, Deliverables & Key Tasks
- The consultant will lead the collection of all data and information needed to complete the social/wellbeing baselines in CCMNP. (The CI Landscape team will provide a near-final survey draft and work with consultants to finalize).
- The consultant will lead the collection of all data and information needed to complete the SAPA and SAGE processes for VSSPNP. (The CI Landscape team will provide technical training on the SAPA and SAGE process as needed).
- Specifically, the consultant will:
- Conduct two community meetings for SAPA in VSSPNP (five villages)
- Conduct two stakeholder workshops for SAPA (VSSPNP)
- Finalize household survey questionnaires for both VSSPNP and CCMNP
- Train (and recruit if needed) field researchers to undertake survey
- Field test and finalize survey questionnaire
- Conduct household surveys in all 24 target villages (~400 total households) in CCMNP and 5 target villages in VSSPNP (30 households per village)
- Validation workshop/meeting to present draft findings
- The expected outputs are the following:
- Inception report (which includes final approach design and methodology) and workplan
- Facilitated community meetings/workshops (4)
- Finalized household survey questionnaires
- Raw household data collected, entered, and cleaned from the ~550 households in 29 villages
- Analyzed household survey data from the ~550 households in 29 villages
- Facilitated governance assessment workshop with accompanied data output
- Facilitated SAGE workshop with accompanied data output
- Final report

Location of Task/Applicable Trips
This consultancy will require travel and work in Pursat, Koh Koh, and Kampong Speu, Ratanakiri and Stung Treng provinces.

- Required Skills and Experience
- This consultancy is open to both teams and firms that meet the following requirements:
- +5 years’ experience with the design and implementation of household surveys to collect socio-economic and wellbeing data, especially in rural and indigenous communities
- +5 years’ experience with the agriculture/integrated of agriculture and rural development, value chain/market System Development (MSD), business enabling, gender assessment and development, social welfare,
- Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR), Climate Resilience Sustainable Agriculture, Natural Resource Management, Good Governance management, development studies
- Experience and familiarity facilitating multi-stakeholder meetings
- Strong analytical and writing skills; extreme attentional to detail
- Professional experience in leading project management and project reporting
- Ability to travel to project sites, as required, for extended periods
- Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information and data
