CAPFish-Capture: Post-harvest fisheries development project, is the flagship programme which is aligned with Programme for Country Partnership for Cambodia (or PCP Cambodia). The PCP Cambodia’s objective is to support the development of agro-value chains, including those with linkages to the tourism sector and also foster industrial diversification and innovation, including through special economic zone development.
UNIDO is delegated by the EU and the Fisheries Administration to implement CAPFISH Capture - Post Harvest Fisheries Development project with respect to the following outputs:
Output 1: Enhanced technical competence and sustainability of the Competent Authority and Official Control services supporting the post-harvest fisheries.
Output 2: Enhanced private sector capacity to comply with international standards and market requirements relevant to the post-harvest fisheries.
Output 3: Enhanced business competitiveness of post-harvest fisheries through innovation and R&D.
Output 4: Project management, monitoring and evaluation.

End of Contract (COB): 31 October, 2021
Number of Working Days: Regular: 6 months (with the possibility of extension after successful completion of probationary period of 6 months)
In this context, UNIDO is recruiting a qualified National Project Coordinator (Private Sector Development) to fulfill duties as given in the table below.
In a broad context, he/she will coordinate with private sector participants, government counterparts and project experts in supporting value chain support for the private sector development and follow up. The expert will work under the direct supervision of Chief Technical Advisor (CTA), under the responsibility of the Project Manager in Vienna, in close cooperation with the project counterparts (mainly the Fisheries Administration and PDAFF), the UNIDO Country Representative and project team.
PROJECT CONTEXT
CAPFISH Capture - Post Harvest Fisheries Development project is part of the “Cambodia Programme for Sustainable and Inclusive Growth in the Fisheries Sector” (ACA/2019/408-424) and is co-funded by the European Union and implemented by UNIDO. The overall objective is to contribute to the achievement of the Royal Government of Cambodia's long-term vision of social and economic development, food security and poverty reduction.
Main Duty Station and Location: Phnom Penh, Cambodia, with the possibility to be relocated to Siem Reap after approximately 3 months
Mission/s to: Local travels in course of assignment, when needed, will be authorized through separate travel requests
Start of Contract (EOD): 15 January 2023
Number of Working Days: Regular - initial contract duration 6 months, with the possibility of extension upon its successful completion

He/she will work under the direct supervision of the Chief Technical Advisor (CTA), under the responsibility of the Project Manager in Vienna, in close cooperation with the project counterparts (mainly the Fisheries Administration/DFPTQ), International experts, the UNIDO Country Representative and the project team.

In this context, UNIDO is recruiting a qualified Administrative Assistant (Procurement and Finance), to fulfil the duties related to procurement and financial aspects of the project implementation, as given in the table below. His/her interventions will ensure process consistency in the project procurements/payments including value chain investment support activities.
