Logistics Officer (1 Position)

Job Purpose

The Logistics Officer is responsible for providing logistic support of both FedRice and Duval Electric (Duval Group). He/she is also responsible for prioritizing work orders and organizing tasks based on project deadlines. This will include involvement in transportation, warehousing, freight forwarding and monitoring of the flow of goods ensuring efficient supply chain operations.

Salary: Upon skills and competence

Duties
  • In charge of all logistics stages from collection to final destination in a cost-effective and timely manner.
  • Maintain the delivery plan up-to-date and improve it, as necessary.
  • Liaise with carriers, brokers and freight forwarders.
  • Prepare/coordinate all relevant import and Customs documentation for a smooth and optimized import process (CO Form D, E…).
  • Ensure that logistics activities comply with local and international regulations.
  • Provide offer comparisons for costing purpose.
  • Manage claims and suggest corrective & preventive actions (non conformity).
Requirements
  • Good knowledge of the Cambodian logistics environment.
  • At least 3 years’ experience in a freight forwarder company or related.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Import/Export, International Logistics or Purchasing.
  • Excellent written & oral communication in English.
  • Good Computer skills (Ms. Word, Excel, Power Point, Internet, and Email)
  • Ability to work effectively with all the group’s departments at any levels.
  • Professionalism, honesty, integrity and teamwork are required.
  • Able to work under pressure and complete work within given deadlines.
  • Able to travel upon request.
