Position Summary

Location: Chenda Polyclinic

Working time: Day shift and Night shift

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Consult and coordinate with doctors to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care plans
  • Perform minor clinical activities including minor dressing, injection when a doctor is not available
  • Sterilize instruments for operations
  • Consult with doctors if an operation is required in order to make preparation for the operation
  • Record the medical supplies used for each operation
  • If there is an in-patient staying in a ward, the nurse will perform minor physical checks such as measuring blood pressure, pulse, examinations and write the details on the chart
  • Ensure the patient follows “Before and After Operation Procedure”
  • Maintain the appropriate medical supplies inventory level in both operating rooms
  • Replenish the medical supplies in the Operation Room and make a report for any stock which is taking from the Inventory Room and be responsible for holding the room key
  • Make a Purchase Request for the medical supplies used in the Operation Room and put the record for the medical supplies taken from the Inventory Room to OR
  • Assisting patients for medical check-up
  • Follow other instructions as required
Requirements:
  • Sex: Male
  • Associate Degree in Nursing or equivalent
  • Obtain at least one year experience of medical experience
  • Knowledge of nursing equipment
  • The incumbent is capable of working on the weekend
  • Caring and compassionate nature
  • Excellent teamwork, people skills and observational skills
  • Ability to use initiative and deal with emotionally charged and pressured situations
  • Verbal and written communication skills both Khmer and English
  • Some computer skills including computer software and internet searching skills
