Caritas Czech Republic (CCR) is a non-profit non-governmental organization with field activities in 15 countries (Europe, Asia, Middle East and Africa) implementing an extensive social and health services programs. CCR is a member of the international network of the Caritas Internationalis and cooperates with a number of international and local partners.

CCR has been working in Cambodia since 2011, and had officially recognized its country office in 2013. The CCR Cambodia has been seeking to support Cambodian social and healthcare system as well as community development in the field of disaster and risk reduction.

Tender on Procurement of Medical Equipment for National Pediatric Hospital

Invitation to Tender:

Caritas Czech Republic in Cambodia invites interested qualified companies (see Annex II - qualification requirements) to participate in a tender on the procurement (purchase – transportation - installation – training - warranty service) of medical equipment for National Pediatric Hospital in Phnom Penh.

Main responsibilities of the supplier:

  • Supply (purchase, transport, install) medical equipment in accordance with the provisions required by the specifications in the Annex 1 and the deadlines;
  • Guarantee the quality of the purchased equipment and its compliance with relevant norms and legislation.
  • Organize and conduct training for personnel of the Hospital on use and maintenance of the equipment.
  • Provide Operational Manual on correct use and maintenance of the equipment, as well as a plan of checks and controls - both in English.
  • Within the 24 months warranty duty to provide free of charge service in case need of repairs or any other interventions occurs.

Price of the tender

The maximum price of the order must not exceed 154000 USD (excl. taxes).

The price will be paid upon the following order:

  • 60% of the price will be advanced to the company
  • 40% after successful completion of the delivery (including training of the personnel and providing operational Manual in English), confirmed through a successful take over by representatives of the National Pediatric Hospital.

Submission Requirements

Interested companies are invited to get acquainted with both technical specifications of the supply, and the qualification requirements.

The document can be submitted electronically via email in the contact detail and the complete printed Offer shall be submitted in a sealed envelope to the following address. Questions for Clarification shall be sent to the address email.

Deadlines:

Deadline for delivery of the offers: 11th September 2020,

Deadline for supply (purchase, transport, installment, training of staff): 30th November 2020

All above information will be prepared in English, except for point 6) and 8).

The applications must be submitted electronically before September 11th, 2020.

NOTE: Organization reserves the right to withdraw from the tender before conclusion of the contract with the potential supplier.
