Site Manager (1 Position)

We are seeking a site manager to join our growing organization. In this position, you will serve as construction project planner and supervise the contractors for both quantity and quality wise. The candidate shall possess strong organizational and communication skills and work proficiently both individually and in teams.

Duties
  • Plan and design detailed drawings, blueprints, specifications and construction documents.
  • Preparing and presenting design proposals.
  • Directing and overseeing all technical activities relating to architectural and engineering project and a range of contractors and subcontractors.
  • Provide input on selecting and hiring contractors,
  • Setting contractor schedules and delivery dates for certain elements of ongoing construction projects to involve determining the order in which contractors work on a series of projects.
  • Make regular site visits to monitor work progress and serve as a liaison between contractors.
  • Ensuring that contractors have available materials and making sure contractors do not cause one another delays due to conflicting project elements.
  • Working closely with clients or contractor throughout the project life cycle.
  • Providing input on contractor bids to balance quality of work with acceptable margins.
  • Identifying opportunities to save by reducing wasteful practices and increasing efficiency.
  • To play a vital role in maintaining jobsite safety and include setting and enforcing standards for each jobsite and making periodic site visits to ensure that contractors and crews are following proper safety protocols.
  • Works to minimize risk, resolve violations and potential hazards, and prepare incident reports in case of an accident or injury.
  • Innovate and develop new standards, policies, and procedures for architectural design and engineering work as necessary to minimize costs and maximize efficiency.
  • Attend coordination meetings organized by Executive Director and Contractors, Sub-contractors, and consultants, etc.
  • Coordinate the handing over of completed constructions from contractors and make sure the Quality Control has been checked and reviewed.
  • Preparing Site submits monthly or bi-monthly progress reports
  • Other tasks assigned by Direct Manager.
Requirements
  • At least a bachelor’s degree in a related field such as architecture, construction management or a related field
  •  3-5 years’ experience in a construction environment or project-based work site.
  • Excellent technical drawing skills.
  • Previous experience as an Architect preferred
  • Knowledge of building codes and regulatory standards.
  • Possess sound understanding of drawings, interface between different objects and systems.
  • Budget management experience required
  • Strong project management skills to ensure that large-scale projects are completed on time and that teams achieve construction milestones and deliverables
  • Effective team leadership and coordination are vital in this role
  • Strong problem-solving skills to resolve issues that may arise during the construction process, such as scheduling conflicts or materials issues
  • Familiarity with developing a Site Safety plan
  • Knowledge of critical scenarios in terms of site management and safety

We are seeking a Facility Management Coordinator to join our growing organization. Facilities management coordinators manage building and equipment maintenance schedules, test building security systems and prepare for emergencies by creating action plans. In a large organization, such as a dormitory, a facilities management coordinator may be responsible for the maintenance and security of one building and referred to as the building coordinator. Facility management coordinators may be involved in planning for the future building space and supply needs of an organization. Coordinators communicate daily with all departments and update information to facility manager regularly.

Duties
  • Monitor and manage design, acquisition, and installation of modular furniture for offices and dormitories areas.
  • Manage and support to build and improve/repair construction sites, plumbing systems, electricity, and water systems, etc.
  • Oversee, plan and coordinate activities of custodial, maintenance and related assigned personnel.
  • Work closely with stock supervisor to manage furniture inventory for new purchases, maintenance, and repair of existing furniture.
  • Prepare monthly occupancy status report to management.
  • Coordinate and monitor performance of facility management’s team through performing related services providing.
  • Assist facility manager to develop and evaluate plans for facilities development and operation.
  • Report deficiencies and recommend areas for improvement to the management.
  • Ensure to maintain and continue operation of mechanical systems like fans, generators, water, and electric systems.
  • Coordinate preventive maintenance and repair programs on all building mechanical infrastructures.
  • Update and maintain records to track maintenance and repairs to facility manager.
  • Direct and manage any facilities emergencies if any.
  • Assist the facilities manager in all aspects of project implementation as needed.
  • Support the facilities manager with both internal and external contacts as needed.
  • Manage and monitor the security system such as security guard, checking points, safety inside facilities etc.
  • Represent the facilities department in any assigned meetings to support and facilitate communication and action with all departments.

Requirements

  • Making designs and samples as well as size ranges for both clothes and items needed by SGC
  • Making patterns for each item in all sizes needed
  • Ensuring a perfect fit and product quality
  • Developing the article list including prices for all new items needed by SGC
  • Prepare a worksheet including measurement chart and wearer trial report for each new item for a high-quality standard
  • Selecting and testing of all fabrics and accessory needed
  • Implementing of quality guidelines
  • Organizing and being responsible for production plan and weekly production meeting
