For this advertised role, we are particularly interested in candidates with business consulting and investment experience.

Emerging Markets Consulting (EMC) is currently seeking candidates to join our team as a Senior Consultant in the Cambodia office. This position is full-time and offers significant growth opportunities. Senior Consultants at EMC typically manage several consulting projects simultaneously and you will regularly have the opportunity to apply your existing analytical skills and experience to problem solving in new thematic areas. This has provided previous Senior Consultants with an excellent opportunity to rapidly diversify their knowledge base, across private and development sectors.

Duties
  • Lead project teams comprising consultants, senior business analysts and business analysts
  • Define consulting tasks, manage project resources, and lead analysis
  • Lead preparation of project deliverables
  • Manage the client relationship to completion of the project
  • Support business development with existing and new clients
  • Contribute to the management of the consulting business (human resources, operations, and strategy)
  • Ensure that EMC’s brand and work maintains the highest standards of quality and ethical conduct.
Requirements
  • Required Qualifications & Experience
  • 5 years of relevant experience in private (ideally) or development sector
  • Excellent academic credentials, master-level degree preferred
  • Exceptional analytical (quantitative and qualitative) and communication skills
  • Write and present reports in English
  • Knowledge of Asia & regional business environment and economy preferred
  • Skills & Capabilities
  • Master new challenges in unfamiliar disciplines
  • Successfully manage projects to client deadlines and objectives
  • Coordinate several projects simultaneously
  • Manage staff, including mentoring and developing junior levels
  • Develop strong and mutually beneficial client relationships
  • Consistently deliver high quality performance in all aspects of your work
