Summary of Position: Our Company is a one of the world’s largest apparels, and accessories producers for Horses. They have a production facility in Sihanoukville, Cambodia.

Horseware Products group also have manufacturing facilities in, China, Europe, India, and USA. We are looking to hire a Procurement and Production Planner, who will be responsible for managing the procurement of raw materials, overseeing inventory control, and coordinating production schedules to ensure the availability of materials required for efficient production operations.

The successful candidate will support a sustainable performance Team by working collectively with our Senior Planning Teams in China and Ireland, and work with our international and local vendors ensuring deliveries are on time.

Salary & Benefits:

  • Salary Range: $1,000 - $1,500 depending on experience and negotiation.
  • Full-time job from Monday to Saturday
  • Annual bonus, based on applied KPIs set and agreed

Duties
  • Manage and ensure the timely and accurate completion of the PO management process.
  • Communicate with Brand, Regions, and Vendors to manage exceptions and order change requests.
  • Support Direct to the Production Manager in the driving continuous improvement initiatives and processes.
  • Vendor Management and raw material pricing efficiency.
  • Change Management & Process's and drive Improvement Implementation.
  • As part of the role, this position is responsible for providing relevant and accurate data, highlighting risks and opportunities, for internal and external stakeholders.
  • To succeed, you will utilize both relationship building and strong analytical skill sets to drive decision making that ensures processes are integrated and aligned across all regions.
  • Analyze weekly exceptions and unconfirmed PO’s ensuring the execution of actions to resolve issues.
  • Collaborate with Global Raw Material Suppliers, manage product quality assurance with vendors to ensure on time deliveries.
  • Partner with the company’s Logistics vendors to optimize delivery times ensuring on time delivery.
  • Measure & monitor factory KPIs and ensure that Vendor scorecards are maintained.
  • Prepare detailed analytics with clear action points on a continuous basis including production tracking tools to provide effective and timely visibility to Brand & Regions.
  • Act as a change agent/ambassador throughout the Product Supply and Supply Chain organization by building trust with various levels in the organization, communicate clearly and consistently in business objectives and align with management vision.
  • Reporting to: Production Manager
Requirements
  • Minimum Relevant Experience: At least 3 years’ experience in planning, ideally with some exposure to manufacturing and/or consumer goods such as footwear, clothing, bags.
  • Minimum Degree Held: University/College degree/diploma or above.
  • Excellent English (writing and speaking) skills. Cantonese and /or Mandarin a plus.
  • Excellent Excel, Power Point and Presentation skills. 
  • Strong analytical skills and systems knowledge, experience in related ERP systems preferred.
  • Understanding of supply chain processes.
  • Proven experience in development of the apparel industry with an exposure to handling a diverse product collection will be an advantage.
  • Oversee and manage full inventory system include warehouse and stock management.
