International Primary Programme Vice Principal

Duties
  • Represent the programme at the assigned campuses by supporting and collaborating with the Programme Principal to ensure overall alignment and effective programme delivery.
  • Take the lead and exercise discretion to foster and maintain positive relationships with parents and other members of the community, in the best interests of the students. 
  • Assist the Programme Principal with the allocation of effective, programme-specific resources.
  • Support management with maintaining WASC accreditation by facilitating the achievement of schoolwide action plan (SWAP) indicators pertinent to their programme, supporting management with SWAP updates and taking a leading role where required in the accreditation processes. 
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to maximise student learning and growth within the programme at their assigned campus.  
  • Conduct or facilitate professional development, primarily for the teaching cohort or, where appropriate, for other school stakeholders as well.  
  • Communicate programme requirements to all stakeholders through emails, meetings, newsletters, and other selected platforms.  
  • Collaborate with the programme management team, teaching cohort, HR, and other relevant departments to recruit, manage, and monitor programme staff performance for the assigned campus. 
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Education, with a teaching licence. 
  • English as a first language (or evidence of highly proficient use of English in professional settings).
  • Solid experience in teaching the Cambridge International Examinations (CIE) Programme.
  • Solid experience in coaching and mentoring teachers at required levels.  
  • Demonstrated reputable personal and professional integrity.
  • Experience and familiarity in curriculum management, accreditation and compliance are a plus. 
  • Familiarity with a trust-based approach and restorative practices is an advantage.
 

School Counsellor

Duties
  • Develop a social-emotional learning and counselling system across all campuses for all students.
  • Establish effective intervention practices, record and file systems as well as confidentiality protocols.
  • Manage a counselling office with an organized and open schedule for students seeking the service.
  • Work with the school health and safety committee to collaborate on student wellbeing matters.
  • Work closely and ensure a systematic flow of information between academic teams, departments and other student support counterparts such as the language learning support teachers, the medical staff, as well as other stakeholders, including the service providers from CARE to ensure that holistic approaches are in place
  • Work with the Focus on Learning (FOL) committee to provide evidence and reflections on the work achievement, progress and continuing improvement plans.
  • Work with the management to introduce programs that promote students' wellbeing and positive behavioural development.
  • Consult with Principals and teachers on matters relating to attendance, misconduct, and incidents and look for trends to assist the school in managing these issues in a proactive and systemic manner
  • Facilitate community social service partnerships and linkages for the school
  • Provide information material to the community engagement team for promoting social and emotional learning via social and other media.
  • Provide orientation and training to other staff members in matters related to social-emotional learning
  • Contribute towards and take part in the efforts of the Centre for Wellbeing and Career Excellence (CWCE) to enhance the wellbeing of students.
  • Facilitate parent workshops when required.

Requirements
  • Cambodian national or a fluent Khmer speaker (native level).
  • Bachelor or higher degree in Psychology, and evidence of experience in providing counselling.
  • Qualification or experience in counselling younger children is desirable yet not mandatory.
  • Native-level English proficiency.
  • Self-directed and high level of self-awareness.
  • Experience working in an international school setting is highly desirable.
  • Excellent counselling and mediation skills, preferably following a restorative approach.

International Programme Teachers

  • Job Responsibilities:

Class Facilitator

Duties
  • Communicate with the students, parents, teachers and offices and supervise the students to ensure that they check in and check out properly for their classes.

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive curriculum on Health, Safety, Wellbeing, Social Emotional Learning, and Career Orientation in collaboration with the subject leaders and other campus counterparts, ensuring alignment with the school-wide Student Learner Outcomes (SLOs) and agreed academic curriculum - including short-term and long-term instructional plans that encompass community services.

Requirements
  • Recognised teaching qualification with at least 2 years practical experience as a teacher within an international secondary school program.
  • Knowledge of career assessment tools, career advising techniques, and career development theories. Certification or license in career counseling or related areas is a plus.
  • Native-level English proficiency with strong communication, interpersonal, and counseling skills to work effectively with diverse student populations.
  • Experience in career counseling, advising, or related roles, preferably in an educational or counseling setting.
  • Effectively manage time in a collegial manner using Google Suite tools, fostering collaboration and ensuring efficient workflow among team members.
  • Experience of working with the established systems of practice within Footprints International School is a plus.
  • A team leader and player and visionary for holistic development in education.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality, respect student privacy, and adhere to ethical guidelines in career advising and guidance practices.
  • Exemplary record of professional and personal integrity.
  • Clear criminal record check from home country or in Cambodia, no longer than six months.
