CWCC is a highly regarded local not-for-profit organization, has been operating since 1997 and continues to grow its services to women and children who are victims of domestic violence, rape, and trafficking. CWCC's vision is to eliminate violence against women and is committed to reducing violence through intervention, education, advocacy and direct services for women.

CWCC in Phnom Penh is seeking to appoint a capable, and committed person for the following position:

Announcement Positions

Community Organizing Project Officer (1 Position)

  • Salary: $480 - $530
Duties
  • Set work plan and manage project's activities to achieve the project goals.
  • Reaching out to target communities to identify target group (Returned women migrant workers and survivors of labor trafficking…etc.)
  • Conduct training for target groups, duty bearers including commune committee for women and children (CCWC), and local authorities (village leaders, polices …etc.)
  • Follow up and monitor the progress of community volunteer networks in the target communities
  • Conduct monthly meeting with community volunteer networks
  • Conduct study visit of community volunteer networks and campaign's activities.
  • Facilitating returned women migrant workers, survivor of labor trafficking, access to information related to migration and labor law of Cambodia.
  • Preparing project progress reports for donor.
Requirements
  • Female
  • Bachelor degree in social work, psychology or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experiences working with migrant workers or similar role.
  • Good communication skill, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to plan and coordinate training independently.
  • Trustworthy, humble, and active team leader.
  • Capable in writing and spoken English.
  • Good knowledge of computer programs, MS office, MS Excel, and Power Point.
  • Good knowledge of report writing.
  • Most importantly, gender sensitive and committed to women and children’s rights.
 

Senior Social Worker (1 Position)

  • Schedule: Full-time
  • Salary: $480 - $530
Duties
  • Assist in preparing project activity plan.
  • Reaching out to target community and identify people in need of help including women survivors/returned women migrant workers.
  • Do family/community assessment, develop case plan.
  • provide counseling and conduct safe migration dissemination session.
  • Facilitating to help target group adjust to changes and challenges they face by introducing CWCC’s comprehensive services especially psychological counseling, legal service and safe shelter and case referral as assessment plan with women survivors/returned women migrant workers.
  • Provide data and information for reporting as required.
Requirements
  • Female
  • Bachelor degree in social work, psychology or related field.
  • At least 2 years’ experience working with NGOs.
  • Good knowledge in both writing and spoken English.
  • Mature and committed person with compassion to working with different kinds of people.
  • Trustworthy, humble, active team player.
  • Strong interest in working together and building capacity of others.
  • Ability to motivate, flexibility, openness and creativity.
