Job Summary

The General Manager (GM) of Prince Brewing will spearhead the brewery’s transformation by driving revenue growth through innovative distribution strategies, optimizing resource-limited operations, and building partnerships that ensure market penetration and brand recognition. The GM is tasked with balancing strategic vision and hands-on execution, fostering a culture of operational excellence. This role demands an entrepreneurial mindset to overcome resource constraints, ensuring the brewery’s scalability and long-term success in a competitive market.

Duties
  • Develop and implement a scalable distribution strategy to penetrate the market, focusing on partnerships with F&B establishments and retailers.
  • Foster strong relationships with distributors to ensure consistent supply chain efficiency and reliability.
  • Negotiate favourable contracts to maximize revenue potential while maintaining sustainable margins.
  • Oversee brewery operations to ensure production quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely fulfilment of orders.
  • Implement systems and processes to optimize efficiency in brewing, packaging, and logistics.
  • Monitor and control budgets, ensuring adherence to financial constraints without compromising product quality.
  • Identify growth opportunities and market trends, crafting initiatives that align with the brewery’s goals and resource capacity.
  • Set annual objectives and business plans, aligning team efforts to achieve measurable outcomes.
  • Act as a key advisor to management’s decision-maker for high-impact operational and strategic issues.
  • Prepare and submit detailed bi-weekly reports to key management, providing insights into performance metrics, progress on strategic initiatives, and actionable recommendations for cLead, mentor, and develop a small team, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and collaboration.
  • Conduct regular team meetings, set performance expectations, and support career growth and skill development within the team.
  • Ensure team retention through motivational leadership and career development opportunities continuous improvement.

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Supply Chain, or a related field (MBA preferred but not required).
  • Professional certifications in supply chain, operations, or distribution management (e.g., APICS CPIM, CSCP) are a plus.
  • 7+ years of experience in alcoholic beverages distribution management, with at least 3 years in a leadership or managerial role.
  • Proven experience in establishing distribution networks and optimizing operations on a tight budget.
  • Strong negotiation and relationship management abilities.
  • Analytical thinking and data-driven decision-making skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
  • Knowledge of brewing processes, supply chain logistics, and industry best practices.
