HI, founded in 1982 in Cambodia and working today in more than 60 countries, is an independent and impartial aid organization working in situations of poverty and exclusion, conflict and disaster. HI works alongside people with disabilities and vulnerable populations, taking action and bearing witness in order to respond to their essential needs, improve their living conditions and promote respect for their dignity and fundamental rights.

In Cambodia, 3 projects are currently implemented in Kampong Cham and Tboung Khmum provinces:

  • Socio Economic Inclusion (SEI)
  • Mother and Child Health (MCH)
  • Rehabilitation (REHAB): addressing access to quality rehabilitation services and building referral with health system on the other hand.

Position Summary

Working Schedule: 40 hours per week

Contract Type: Unspecified Duration Contract (UDC)

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Build capacity and then advocate the commune councils in Kampong Cham and Tboung Khmum in local inclusive development in line with IP3 phase III of RCG.
  • Coaching and mentoring support DPO partner staff in advocating for an inclusive CIP and delivery inclusive livelihood services to target beneficiaries.
  • Support the commune in preparing the proposal for inclusive grant from the Fund Management Committee as well project implementation of people with disabilities’ need addressing
  • Assist other program team members in meetings, workshop or training among focal beneficiaries’ representatives, district authorities and service providers to discuss need for service design change.
  • Coordinate the works among the program team members in Kampong Cham office for the smoothness of planning and implementation of the program.
  • Monitor the implementation in the field and make sure all data are collected and input to database on timely basis.
  • Assist the Program Manager in pre-analysis of the data for weekly and monthly meetings.
  • Work with the Program Manager in tools and training material development.
  • Work the Program Manager in project planning and monitoring.
Requirements:
  • Preferably a minimum of a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in General Management, Rulral Development and/or Social Development
  • At least 3-year experience in: Working for non-profit organization, taking responsibility on building capacity of staffs, working with partners and Community development through CIP
  • Experience in managerial tasks and disability is preferred
  • Experience in Monitoring a project
  • Experience in Disability related project
  • Experience in Women empowerment project
  • Good command of Excel, Word and Powerpoint, internet and email
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills in Khmer. Intermediate English required
