ORGANIZATIONAL CONTEXT

WFP recently started implementation of the new Country Strategy Plan 2024-28 (CSP) that contributes to the overarching goal to achieve Zero Hunger and is structured along two broad priorities: (a) human capital development with a focus on nutrition and social protection; and (b) climate change adaptation with a focus on food systems and disaster risk management. The new CSP is grounded in a strategic shift from direct implementation to capacity strengthening and technical assistance in line with national priorities. WFP’s programming approach also adopts a systems/ integrated approach across the whole portfolio to maximize the co-benefits of improving nutrition, social protection, food systems and disaster risk management.

Job Purpose: The World Food Programme (WFP) is actively seeking a highly skilled candidate for the role of Business Support Associate. This position entails performing front office management functions and overseeing a wide range of business support services, including specialized tasks such as organizing and coordinating the work of WFP management and the head of the program on a daily basis. We are specifically looking for candidates who possess exceptional capabilities and a track record of excellence in this field. The position will be under overall and direct supervision of the Country Director.
