Overall Purpose of the Role

Identifies and develops Corporate. Government & Authority business prospects with the aim of increasing JLR brand awareness, maximizing sales and profitability from vehicles, together with finance, other ancillary products. Whilst also helping to lead and manage the Dealership’s sales activity to deliver sales volume and profitability targets, this also includes a focus to attract the after sales business of grey-market purchased vehicles. Understand market outlooks and competitions as well as creating, communicating and delivering the values created to the target consumers with positive bottom line.

  • Understands the JLR offer for
  • Understands the features and benefits of the JLR offer (vehicles, service costs and plans, warranty, accessories) and how these compare with other premium automotive brands
  • Uses an understanding of the offer and the Jaguar and Land Rover brands to develop a distinctive and compelling sales proposition for corporate customers
  • Plans marketing activities
  • Formulate annual marketing plan and annual budget while also ensure plan execution
  • Keep the information of automotive industry updated and actively seeking feedback and input from Sales Team for marketing activities and competitor information
  • Understands and uses a range of local marketing activities (e.g. events, advertisements, fliers, website page, driving events) to develop new business including developing relationship with advertising agencies, media and key stakeholders to promote public image of JLR
  • Researching, tracking and updating the management on all political and economic issues in Cambodia, mainly related to automotive industry as well as changes in the competitive environment for vehicles in Cambodia
  • Purchasing and inventory control of branded stationary, giveaway’s and other premium items
  • Lead and coach marketing and sale team in order to carry out the plan by creating and implementing product training
  • Regular reporting of marketing activities and competitive activities to the management
  • Knowledge Responsibilities:
  • Full understanding of product ranges available to customers
  • Knowledge of JLR Customer First Behaviors
  • Knowledge of Jaguar Land Rover Operational Guidelines and standards
  • Financial Responsibilities:
  • Generating Revenue and Profit for the sales department through effective marketing measures
  • Financial Reporting of marketing achievements vs budget and related Marketing ROI’s to the GM
  • Managing in line with the budget the operational expenses of the marketing department
  • Monthly reviews of the financial accounts with GM and RMA Cambodia
  • Providing the GM with related marketing budgets
  • HR Responsibilities:
  • Aiding in the coaching and development of the marketing team (up to 3x people)
  • Reporting to the GM marketing activity and financials

Requirements
  • Education Knowledge
  • Bachelor Degree of Business Administration, Marketing or related field.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years Marketing Management experience (automotive preferred / luxury brands an alternative)
  • A track record in successfully managing a marketing team and driving 360-degree marketing principles
  • (including the 7 C’s)
  • Able to travel at short notice
  • Excellent English (written and spoken)
  • Fully conversant with Microsoft suite of products and fully computer literate (Excel + PowerPoint critical)
  • Driver’s License motor vehicle.
  • Experience from automotive is advantage.

Duties
  • Develop sales plan and sales strategy for the market that ensures attainment of company sales goals and profitability.
  • Builds a winning team by recruiting, hiring, training, coaching, evaluating, motivating, and rewarding Parts Department employees.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of target customer sectors and key prospects/clients.
  • Act as the 'subject matter expert' for the team and colleagues in other departments regarding key markets and customers, developing their knowledge and experience.

Workshop Supervisor (1 Position)

Duties
  • Report to the Service Manager and Aftersales Manager.
  • Work closely with all employees and other related departments.
  • Meet with Sales, Parts, and Inventory Teams monthly to evaluate inter-departmental concerns, plans, and performance at own branch/workshop.
  • Develop and maintain good working relationships with customers
  • Develop and keep closely contact with workshop team, DTAC, and support team to improve product performance and others as required.
  • Team Management: take responsibilities for team's arrangement (service, standby), and performance of own team in the workshop (Schedule technician daily workload)
  • Manage, arrange, follow up team to fix customer's machine as quicker as possible at promised date & time effectively.
  • Manage, repair, and do maintenance on all tractors, implements, and equipment in the workshop.
  • Work closely with storekeeper to do inventory management & order replacement of spares and send the report to Service Manager every week about sales, lost sales, pending quote, predicted parts need to be stored in the future.
  • Manage all reports from technicians such as Repair Report, Timesheet, and Sales Invoices need to be completed & delivered to Service Manager after return from site or finish the jobs every day.
  • Cooperate with Warranty Admin on providing the pictures & reports as required from warranty claims.
  • Do monthly check on technician's tools to make sure there is no lacking tools when fixing the tractors.
  • Work closely with tools keeper on tools verification regularly as instruction from tools keeper.
  • Organize team & make sure there is person/people stand-by at the workshop to do jobs for walk-in customers (maintenance or repairing or part sales).
  • Ensure every jobs have been done by technicians must have work order & timesheet completed properly.
  • Cooperate and support with storekeeper about the part issues (availability, price, get the right parts).
  • Plan and arrange team to call check & follow up the customers at covering area regularly.
  • Work closely with storekeeper to summarize on labor & part sales report that need to send to Service Manager every week.
  • Come up with new strategies to improve on labor / parts sales & working process as needed.
  • Work closely with workshop team for unsolvable technical issues and others as required.
  • Ensure a safe working environment by leading on the implementation of Health and Safety policy, systems and procedures.
  • Develop and deliver work methods and standards that will ensure health and safety legislation is complied with.
  • Ensure that all persons are aware of safety procedures and embed a strong organizational culture - seeking to develop a positive attitude to health and safety among staff, volunteers and participants.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Service Manager.
  • Come up with new creative ideas to improve both parts and labor sales, and monitor against targets on a weekly & monthly basis.
  • Cooperate with sales team to improve on unit sales in coverage area.
  • Arrange available time and materials to train technicians about what they need to improve on their technical skills as required, preferably during branch or workshop weekly meeting on every Saturday.
  • Train customers well on the operator training and need to solve and explain to the customer on how to operate machine efficiently and technically to ensure on customer satisfaction on non-warrantable cases if occurred.
  • Manage cost with reasonable for the team or workshop expenses and in line with budget.
  • Actively advise about concerns relating to profitable of workshop.
  • Periodically visits primary customers to monitor customer relations, needs, problems, and satisfaction with Dealership- performed repairs.
  • Required to travel to customer's sites to fix the problems, which assigned by Service Manager.
Requirements
  • Graduated from Mechanical Engineering School or have equivalent degree in related field.
  • Having at least 3 or year experiences in repairing tractors or heavy equipment.
  • Being able to diagnose and troubleshoot on technical problem and rectify faults and fix the problem effectively.
  • Being able to read schematic diagram and understand function of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
  • Understanding processing jobs in workshop well with good manner.
  • Having knowledge and skills about team management.
