Job purpose

A stock keeper in a windows fabrication factory is responsible for managing the inventory of raw materials and finished products. They are responsible for ensuring that the inventory is accurate and up to date. They must also ensure that the inventory is stored and labelled properly and that it is easily accessible when needed. The stock keeper must be able to work with other departments to ensure that the inventory is properly managed and that there are no shortages or overages. They must also be able to work with suppliers to ensure that the inventory is delivered on time.

Duties
  • Maintaining accurate inventory records
  • Ensuring that inventory is stored properly.
  • Coordinating with other departments to ensure that inventory is properly managed.
  • Working with purchase department to ensure timely delivery of inventory.
  • Develop a personal knowledge base of all the different parts to fabricate our international grade windows and doors.
  • Also, as an order picker is responsible for picking and packing orders for windows and doors.
  • She must be able to read and understand work orders, pick the correct parts, and pre-pack them for the fabricator.
Requirements
  • Key Accountabilities
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in inventory management at least 1 year.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong organizational skills
  • An ideal candidate should have experience working in a warehouse environment and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • The job position is preferably open to a gender woman candidate
