The HALO Trust is a foreign NGO that clears explosive ordnance in Cambodia. Our mission is to protect lives and restore livelihoods that have been affected by the explosive remnants of war. HALO has been working in Cambodia since 1991 and currently employs over 1,200 staff to work on mine clearance and explosive ordnance disposal projects in the north and northwest of the country.
Monthly salary depends on qualification and/or experience
We are recruiting a translator with excellent English language skills to work on a full time contract. The position will be roving to all HALO Cambodia locations offices and camps and will rotate to other HALO offices in Kamrieng, Anlong Veaeng Thma Da and Siem Reap as required. Additionally, this position will require spending time in remote locations in challenging conditions including minefields. Basic accommodation will be provided in HALO Cambodia locations and remote camps.
