This is a perfect position for a person who is creative, appreciates hand made skills, and can help inspire Cambodians to produce their best work for overseas markets. Every day will be a different challenge. Baskets of Cambodia is the oldest and one of the first private handicraft businesses in Cambodia. We have operated for over 23 years in SR, PP and the provinces. We are also a leader in fair trade values for workers. Want to learn more?? - BOC also will provide paid educational opportunities for all qualified staff.  Motivation to learn is most important. Anyone can learn with the right motivation. You will also be working with and help support teams of makers who have worked with BOC for many years.

Handicraft Coordinator

Salary: $300++ DOE

Base : Office - Road to Pouk just past road to Baray. Work area from Angkor Wat, Krabei Riel and Pouk district.

Must have a good eye for appreciation of quality and craftsmanship to insure the good international reputation of Baskets of Cambodia. Must be able to help teach makers until they can reach our quality levels.

Work Conditions: Must be able to work solo and hire local workers by the day for specific help tasks (usually cleaning ro helping to collect baskets from the countryside).
