Founded in 2007, GAEA Plc is a solid waste management company with operations across four provinces, including Siem Reap, Banteay MeanChey, Kampong Thom and Kampot. Fast growth across all project sites has necessitated further company personnel expansion. In this context, GAEA is presently seeking dedicated and enthusiastic applicants for the following positions:

Announcement Positions

Branch Manager (1 Position)

  • Salary: $500 - $700
Duties
  • Represent the company to manage, organize, and implement on all the operational activities of the branch which is approved by the National Operation Manager (NOPM) of the company;
  • Develop and implement on annual objectives and strategies of the branch;
  • Ensure that the day-to-day operations of the branch is complied with the internal policies, other related procedures, and is complied with the laws and regulations;
  • Regularly advise on the strategies and the future development plans of the branch to the NOPM;
  • Manage and organize day to day works of the branch;
  • Assist the NOPM to develop necessary policies and procedures for the operations of the company;
  • Provide day to day direct supervision on the operations of each department in order to ensure effectiveness and transparency;
  • Ensure that the set policies and procedures for the implementation of day-to-day accounting and administrative works are in place and are effectively controlled;
  • Set up financial plan of the branch in accordance with the master development plan as well as the master operational plans of the company;
  • Advise on the monthly financial report of the branch to the NOPM;
  • Report operation activities status to the NOPM every month;
  • Authorize on general operation activities. And authorize on operation expenses up to 50USD. However, the authorities could be delegated in a short period if needed;
  • Regularly monitor, in part, on accounting works, invoice and billing, suppliers, and cash status of the branch;
  • Lead on the internal auditing works of the branch;
  • Negotiate directly with all suppliers of the branch;
  • Responsible for the recruitment of deputy branch manager, department manager, and also their performance appraisal;
  • Authorize and sign on the employment contract with all employee of the branch;
  • Implement according with the internal policy of the company;
  • Analyze on human resource status of the branch and advise the NOPM accordingly;
  • Lead, implement, and control on the trainings of all employees of the branch;
  • Manage and monitor on the implementation of salary payment of the branch;
  • Work with the NOPM to prepare the development strategies of the company;
  • Report directly to the NOPM of the company;
  • Perform accordance with the procedures and internal policies of the company;
  • Perform other duties if needed by the company.
Requirements
  • Degree in Accounting, Finance and Banking, Business and Management, or a related area
  • 2 or 3 years of experience in related work.
  • Experience with ERP software (Microsoft Dynamic NAV 2016) is preference.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint…) with massive data.
  • Highly responsible for work completion with accuracy and within deadline
  • Good interpersonal Communication and problem-solving skill
  • Confident and self-motivated
  • Able to write, read and speak in English.
  • Work independence and self-management.
  • Excellent teamwork and team building skills
  • Strong desire to learn and commit to his/her further development.
  • Ability to work under pressure and be flexible.
 

Operation Team Leader (1 Position)

  • Schedule: Full-time
  • Salary: $200 - $300
Duties
  • Make sure the OP starts at 5:30AM every day by doing briefing
  • Lead the daily checking the truck before starting operation such as safety system, Water, hydraulic, lubricant, Gear box oil and with a cap, correct level and lock.
  • Make sure that our driver and worker wear Uniform during working time
  • Advice driver and worker for collection and keep the street clean
  • Evaluate driving skill of driver on the road and how to unload the waste at landfill
  • Manage and check the daily shift of each truck
  • Control quality of work for waste collector
  • Make sure the street is clean and follow the schedule
  • Prepare schedule for washing the truck, clean Cabin …etc.
  • Corporate with mechanic for repairing in time when the truck gets problem on the street
  • Check and look after the landfill at least 3 times/week and plan its clearing in advance
  • Think about the risk and reduce the maintenance and repairing expense
  • All truck must be clean in the garage after the shift done
  • Facilitate customer service (increase new customer, problem & default)
  • Spot check on customer's problem
  • Work directly with authority to solve customer's issue.
  • Survey data management
  • Report daily operation activities to Branch Manager
  • Others assign by Branch Manager.
Requirements
  • Bachelor degree or other related fields
  • 2 or 3 years of experience in related work.
  • Able to use basic computer well (word, excel, power point).
  • Good interpersonal Communication and problem-solving skill
  • Able to write, read and speak in English.
  • Work independence and self-management.
  • Excellent teamwork and team building skills
  • Strong desire to learn and commit to his/her further development.
  • Ability to work under pressure and be flexible.
 

Customer Service/Sale (4 Positions)

  • Category: Sales / Marketing, Business Administration
  • Type : Job Opportunity
  • Location: Kampong Thom Province, Siemreap Province
  • Schedule: Full-time
  • Salary: $160 - $200

  • Prepare the monthly report and submit it to the manager.
  • Respond to customer inquiries & resolve complaints.
  • Find and contact new customers to promote and sale service
  • Improve/Develop daily work with a creative idea
  • Cooperate with related departments
  • Other tasks that may be assigned by the department manager.
Requirements
  • At list finish 2nd year of university student on Management, Sales & Marketing or Customer Service.
  • Some experience in a related field is an advantage.
  • Able to work both independently and within a team.
  • Honest, highly responsible, self-motivated and reliable.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment that is still in its formative period.
