Executive, HR

Purpose / Summary of Position

The Senior Executive, HR/HRBP report to Senior Manager, HR (Lead HRBP, Indochina) to administer and ensure the implementation of Talent Acquisition and Onboarding, Total Rewards, HR Shared Services and Workplace Safety and Health, and assist on labour relations and statutory compliances with gov’t institutions.

Duties
  • Talent Acquisition and Onboarding: Source the right talents through the standardised acquisition processes to meet the respective departments’ manpower plan
  • Partner with head of departments to plan, attract and recruit talents to meet the respective departments’ manpower plan and requirements in timely manner through the standardised acquisition process
  • Manage relationships with hiring managers to ensure we hire the right people and provide advice to the managers on how to improve their human resources
  • Build a strong industry connection and reinforcing the employee branding activities for attracting talents
  • Track and complete recruitment reports to present your progress of your recruitment
  • Participate in Employee Branding initiatives such as panel discussions, career fairs, school outreach activities and other partnerships with top institutes/universities
  • Engage with the candidates to ensure smooth on-boarding (such as collecting compliance documents - NSSF Card, Employee Workbook, Bank Accounts and Personal Information)
  • Total Rewards Ensure all compensations and benefits transactions are processed efficiently and timely
  • Partner with line supervisor and manager & Group Payroll to ensure and perform overtime, meal, any other applicable allowances & benefits calculation, and payout to staff on timely and accurately through monthly payroll
  • Ensure statutory compliance sustainability in YHS Cambodia as per deadline set by Government
  • Ensure payroll master data and monthly report is maintained up to date in payroll file with complete supporting document
  • HR Shared Services and Workplace Safety & Health:
  • Ensure Staff’s Personal Records Management and Controlling are kept properly and safely, and are not accessed to by any authorized persons.
  • Partner with YHS Group’s HR Shared Service to ensure that Employee Profile and Information are uploaded and up to date in Employee Central (HR System)
  • Ensure Employee annual leave are recorded, tracked, and reported to Line Manager monthly
  • Administer and ensure the services such as Canteen, Cleaning, Gardening, Security, Pest Control are operating smoothly as per service agreements & SOPs
  • Monitor and ensure the renewal of Service Agreement in a timely manner and work with Finance to ensure payments as TOAs
  • Partner with EHS personnel to ensure Workplace Safety & Health and comply with Government’s regulations
  • Ensure that stationery are sufficient for employee and properly control and manage on the Stationery Taking Book Work closely
  • General Business Laws and Regulations assist the HR manager on Labor Laws, Regulations and HR Compliances
  • Monitor YHS (Cambodia) compliance with all Cambodian Labor laws and regulations (The major exceptions are those areas overseen by Finance and Accounting, for example, taxation.)
  • Obtain business permits, licenses and certificates as required by the law and keep them up to date.
  • Meet with government officials to understand laws, regulations and issues and help YHS (Cambodia) comply with government requirements.
  • Support YHS (Cambodia) departments in performing their work and activities legally, according to Cambodian Laws.
Requirements
  • Bachelor degree of Business administration, human resource or related fields
  • Minimum of at least three (3) year-experience in general business compliances, Payroll/HR operation and compliance; experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
  • Good knowledge human resource concepts, practices and procedures, labor law and able to interpret the law, especially on pay and benefits
  • Ability to communicate both in Khmer and English effectively in person and in writing
  • Strong time management, multi-tasking and organization skills
  • Good intrapersonal, team building and commitment
  • Good Problem solving and Negotiation skills
 

Manager, Maintenance

Duties
  • Plan and implement preventive maintenance and overhaul for process, filling and packing equipment.
  • Monitor and keep track of maintenance and repair activities being carried out.
  • Supervise and control daily site activities to ensure contractors or suppliers perform and complete works in a safe and timely manner without compromising work quality.
  • Able to issue reports for management on issues occurred and resolved. E.g corrective action report and preventive action report.
  • Organise equipment spare parts, tools, equipment O&M (Operation and Maintenance) manuals and equipment drawings.
  • Good analytical skills, able to use fishbone analysis to find out root; uses Poka-yoke to improve safety, efficiency and reliability of the production equipment.
  • Continuously improving the maintenance processes and framework to achieve operational excellence.
  • Able to carry training for technician staff
  • Willing to stay late to resolve equipment problems in the event of equipment problems cause production down.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in mechanical and electrical engineering from a recognized university or polytechnic or equivalent qualification.
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of working experience in food manufacturing.
  • Hand-on experience on troubleshooting and repair food industry equipment and components. E.g. Pumps, valves, instruments and automation components.
  • Able to interpret P&I (Piping and Instrumentation) drawing, single line diagram and Mechanical drawing.
  • Good knowledge in thermodynamics & fluid mechanics.
  • Good knowledge in PLC (Programmable Control Logic) and automation.
  • Good verbal and written English communication skills
  • Proficient in MS office applications
  • Able to use AutoCAD software to generate engineering drawings
 

Manager, Quality Assurance

Duties
  • Organize and manage the QA department to ensure that quality of product comply with legal requirements and management objectives.
  • Ensure that incoming materials (raw materials, packaging materials) and finished products meet the required quality standard.
  • Review quality reports and microbiological results of raw materials and finished products.
  • Conduct plant inspection to ensure compliance to SOP.

Manager, Environment Health and Safety

Job Summary:

The Manager, EHS is responsible for Designing, seeking approval of and ensuring execution of required occupational safety, health, environmental, sustainability and related management system programs and processes. 

Duties
  • Responsible for implementing and managing Behavior-Based Safety programs, Regulatory training, environmental waste reduction and EHS Program Management to maintain and enhance Certification standards, as well as continuous improvement of key performance metrics through project management and initiatives.
  • Facilitate Risk Assessment Process (Health & Safety Risks, Environmental Aspects and Impacts) in order to mitigate risks. Coordinate with team and functional management, including HR, to manage injured workers including return to work programs.
  • Conduct or respond to health and safety assessments/analyses in plant to minimize health and safety risks
  • Lead the implementation of the facilities wastewater quality strategy compliance tracking and review/approval of designs.
  • Design and deliver EHS procedure and management system related training modules at five levels: New Hire Orientation, Annual Review, Specialty, Contractor, and Management
  • Develop implementation strategies, implement, evaluate and/or certify effective implementation of programs and standards.
  • Establish and maintain medical response program and emergency response organization and champion sustainability efforts within the facility.
  • Coordinate and communicate findings of internal and external audits to management staff, and ensure items of non-conformance are addressed and corrected according to schedule
  • Effectively translate safety and sustainability goals and objectives to all levels of the organization ensuring alignment on relevant performance data
  • Routinely review safety and sustainability results with plant personnel to maximize facility performance.
  • Foster an environment that supports an engaged safety and sustainability culture.

Requirements
  • Knowledge
  • Safety: Knowledge of technical practices and programs used in the reduction or elimination of workplace hazards. Includes knowledge of worker safety regulations as they relate to the manufacturing, distribution, and sales.
  • Environmental Management System Design: Ability to design, develop and implement effective environmental management systems. This includes the ability to coach Associates how to effectively assess environmental management system designs and deployment.
  • Environmental and Health & Safety Regulations: Knowledge of government environmental, health and safety regulations; how to access and evaluate resources as applicable to facilities within YHS Cambodia.
  • Industrial Hygiene: Knowledge of procedures used to anticipate, recognize, evaluate and control physical, chemical, biological and ergonomic hazards.
  • Technical Communication to Non-Technical Audience: Ability to break down or modify complex technical information as needed to communicate it orally or in writing to non-technical staff (e.g., senior managers, customers or consumers). This includes the ability to use analogies/metaphors understood by the target audience to reinforce points. It also includes the ability to accurately read the audience’s level of understanding and adjust the message/presentation to deliver it at the appropriate level.
  • Requirements: Necessary Technical:
  • 5-7 years’ Experience of heading safety at a manufacturing operations of 100 or more people.
  • Degree in Environmental engineering or management or EHS programs is desirable.
  • Knowledge of technical practices and programs used in identification and elimination of workplace hazards
  • Knowledge of worker safety regulations as they relate to manufacturing.
  • Knowledge of procedures used to anticipate, recognize, evaluate and control physical, chemical, biological and ergonomic hazards.
  • Ability to interact with government officials; Seek required safety and environment related certifications
  • Capability to Train and educate people on occupational health and Safety requirements at plant.
  • Ability to bring in a culture of safety to all in the operations
  • Trained on handling emergency response
