Background
This document is a Request for Proposals (RFP) detailing information sought from potential consulting firms or individual consultants that are able to provide website design and development services.
3i is seeking proposals from all suitable firms and individuals, both in Cambodia and internationally.
Program summary
Investing in Infrastructure (3i) is a six year, nationwide, social investment program funded by the Australian Government and implemented by Palladium. The program has supported more than 90 private companies to establish and expand piped clean water infrastructure, electricity networks, and small scale solar in areas where operators would not have invested by themselves. At least one million Cambodians will get access to reliable electricity and piped clean water through the support from the program.
Purpose of website development
The objective of the website is to communicate 3i Cambodia’s project results, achievement and lessons learned to donor and their audiences, development partners, the relevant government agencies, policy makers, potential investors, and other relevant stakeholders.
Website Design
Based on the abovementioned description of 3i Cambodia’s work, overall, 3i Cambodia expects that the website should be friendly and easy to navigate. The website should be informative, a bit creative, innovative, representative of 3i Cambodia’s key beneficiaries (rural populations) and in line with principles of development organizations (inclusive, impact, results-driven). The design of the “home” and other menu should be built on the concept of easy-to-navigate” and fast at communicating achievement and results to visitors.
Home (“Home” Menu is expected to communicate 3i Cambodia’s results and achievement easily and quickly with visitors. An interactive and popup map of 3i Cambodia’s areas of intervention and activities is one of the key components on the “home” menu aside from a few other items.) Below are proposed pages on menu bar.
