Assignment Purpose

Oxfam in Cambodia (Oxfam) is planning to relocate from its current office premise located at #113C, Mao Tse Tung Boulevard, Phum 7, Sangkat Tuol Svay Prey I, Khan Beong Keng Kang, Phnom Penh, to an office building called ‘The Point’. Oxfam is looking for a professional design and fit out agency/expert with strong track record to propose competitive, innovative workplace solutions. The awarded service provider will work closely with Oxfam’s Design, Fitting and Procurement Working Group (DFP).

Bid Components

Workplace Design and Fit Out Service

The Consultant/service provider shall:

  • Report in hard and soft copies to the Oxfam’s Design, Fitting and Procurement Working Group (DFP)
  • Submit the final proposal in hard and soft copies to the OiC DFP
  • Service provider must follow terms & condition from THE POINT building management.

Minimum eligibility criteria for the Firm:

  • Valid business license
  • At least 3 years of experience in similar exercise
  • At least 5 successful assignments in the office premise design
  • Service provider should have strong financial capacity to invest and get reimbursement based on the terms & condition.
  • Architectural design/remodelling of modern office building experience highly desirable.
  • Full understanding of applicable architectural and construction codes/norms.

Minimum eligibility criteria for the team leader

  • BSc. Engineer/Architect from reputed engineering university
  • At least 5 years of experience in interior decoration and civil engineering
  • At least 3 similar working experience with international organization, private sector, reputed corporate offices
  • Language: full proficiency in both spoken and written English and Khmer.

Other

  • Eager and required to adhere to Oxfam’s principles and values as well as the promotion of gender justice and women's rights
  • Understanding of and commitment to adhere to equity, diversity, gender, child safety and staff health and wellbeing principles.

  • Ability to demonstrate sensitivity to cultural differences and gender issues, as well as the commitment to equal opportunities.
  • Ability to demonstrate an openness and willingness to learn about the application of gender/gender mainstreaming, women’s rights, and diversity for all aspects of development work.
  • Commitment to Oxfam’s safeguarding policies to ensure all people who come into contact with Oxfam are as safe as possible.
