CIS seeks a creative, collaborative candidate for the position of videography consultant. The consultant will produce high-quality video content for social media and the school website. The part-time consultancy would be suitable for a creative storyteller with experience in the international school sector. An understanding of multimedia production and social media are important. 

The consultant will need to use their own camera and audio equipment. Work would be done largely on campus with some remote work possible. Work would be commissioned and paid on a project basis.

Videography Consultant

Position Summary

The videography consultant will film and edit inspiring video content for the school website and social media channels. The consultant’s filmmaking will reinforce the CIS brand identity and raise brand awareness. They will play a pivotal role in communicating the CIS story.

Expectations - Duties, Responsibilities
  • Film and edit videos of school events, activities and programs based on technical briefs provided
  • Store files in and maintain the digital asset management system
Requirements - Skills, Qualifications, Experience
  • Qualifications and Experience
  • At least 2 years of experience in video production and post-production essential
  • Experience in producing content for social media essential
  • Experience working in an international school setting an advantage
  • Knowledge, Competencies and Attributes
  • Proficient in written and spoken English
  • Knowledge of social media platforms, the nature of multimedia content appropriate to each platform, and how to brand and package multimedia content to a high standard
  • Knowledge of typical video production and post-production requirements
  • Ability to set up professional shoots and operate video production equipment
  • Proficient in the use of video editing tools (e.g. CapCut, DiVinci Resolve, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, Canva)
  • Ability to use graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) an advantage
  • Excellent time management skills and able to manage projects under tight deadlines
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, and enjoys the collaborative process
  • Creative, flexible, organized and highly collaborative

  • attending regular professional development child protection and safeguarding programs and signing a Code of Conduct
  • reporting to the Designated or Deputy Safeguarding Lead any concerns they have for the welfare of a student
