Western International School (WIS) is a private school located in the heart of Phnom Penh. We offer an American English curriculum to Cambodian and international students from Pre-Kindergarten to Grade 12. Our qualified staff members and teachers are from the United States, Canada, and other English speaking countries. We focus on delivering students a basic knowledge of English language, western social and economic development and standards, and advanced science and technology.

Western International School is a fast growing International School that has been in operations in Cambodia since 2003. We have eight campuses in Toul Kork area of Phnom Penh. Duties
  • Establish and promote WIS Standards for all students, parents and staff.
  • Manage, evaluate and supervise effective procedures for internal operations (Academic programs, extracurricular activities, Discipline system to ensure a safety environment, maintenance, office operations and emergency procedures).
  • Make plans for improvements.
  • Supervise Vice School Principal, Academic Coordinator Khmer, Admin Officer, HR Officer, and Registrar’s Officer, Teachers, Teacher Assistants and other staffs.
  • Provide guidance to students about academic and personal issues.

Requirements

Duties
  • Oversees, reviews, develops, and executes HR policies and procedures.
  • Reviews time sheet processing for both full time and part time employees/teachers.
  • Supervises and provides supports to HR Payroll and C&B officers for smooth operation and documentation of payroll and C&B.
  • Processes payroll, including stop pays, reversals and manual checks, according to WIS process.
  • Processes new hire, transfer, resignation and termination requests in payroll.
  • Be responsible for data entry and filing for applicant tracking.
  • Maintains and updates employee and human resources files.
  • Coordinates updates of staff profile: staff information change, contract, other staff supporting document and filing.
  • Ensures all effective and updated information to all HR Officers in Campuses and assist them to ensure the right track of HR function.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Verify monthly staff resignation report.
  • Issue employment certificates to staff whenever there is requirement.
  • Monitor HR database system and give orientation for new staff on database system record.

Requirements
  • Bachelor in Business Administration, Human Recourse Management or other related fields.

  • Ability to handle sensitive data with high degree of confidentiality all HR payroll and C&B.

Duties
  • Helps Registrar at Main Campus to prepare and issues teachers and students’ schedule before the new academic year starts.
  • Maintains computerized records including students’ cumulative folders, progress and failure reports, class rosters, schedule changes and grade books.
  • Processes new student records, including requesting students’ recommendation, transcripts or other documents to/from other schools.
  • Prepares the examination and exam schedule for semester and supplementary exams.
  • Supports teachers to collect all exam papers for Registrar’s Department.
  • Prepares and distributes students’ identification cards, Quarter/Semester/and End of Year result.
  • Assists Academic Coordinator and Branch Director with students’ enrollment, transfer and dropped out and processes all student records in Database.
