Reporting Line: System Engineer Team Leader

Department/Group: Engineering

Purpose

The system engineer at Sabay, need to monitor, manage and maintain all system and infrastructure to ensure that Sabay systems and services are always working properly. In addition, they quickly response with any alarm of system, ticket and internal team problems.

Duties
  • Manage and monitor all installed systems and infrastructure
  • Install, configure, test and maintain operating systems, application software and system management tools
  • Ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability
  • Monitor and maintain data center
  • Provide support to co-lo, peering and other customers
  • Maintain security, backup and redundancy strategies
  • Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolutions
  • Maintain games of Sabay Company
  • Support customer ticket
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by line manager
Requirements
  • BS/MS Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
  • At least One-year relevant working experience
  • Proven working experience in installing, configuring and troubleshooting UNIX /Linux based environments
  • Experience with virtualization and containerization (e.g., VMware, Virtual Box)
  • Experience with window server
  • Experience with monitoring systems
  • Solid networking knowledge (OSI network layers, TCP/IP)
  • The system engineer must be enable work with alternative schedule and shift management

Report Line: Marketing Manager

Purpose

The Video Editor works on video edit for all Sabay game products (AK, JX, AOG etc.). S/he is also required to support Content Creators (and the game team) to edit videos, and set up livestream/pre-recorded videos. 

Duties
  • Work closely with Content Creators to edit and/or support video editing process to deliver the predetermined video standards and quality
  • Create and edit videos including, but not limited to promotional gaming videos
  • Trim footage and put together the rough project
  • Continuously discover and implement new editing technologies and industry’s best practices to maximize efficiency (transition, special effect, music, sound effect etc.)
  • Design video streaming overlay
  • Be able to support on graphic design and media production when required
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by line manager
Requirements
  • University student or Bachelor Degree in related field
  • 2 years of experience in video editing
  • Knowledgeable in Adobe Premier, Illustrator, Photoshop is required
  • Knowledgeable in Adobe After Effect and motion graphic is a plus
  • Knowledgeable of game streaming or OBS (Open Broadcast System) is a plus
  • Experienced playing LAN/mobile games
  • Creative experience in filmmaking and videography is a plus
  • Basic understanding of marketing model, “AIDA” (Attention/Interest/Desire/Action) is a plus

The Graphic Designer works on, including but limited, to graphic design for all Sabay game products (AK, JX, AOG etc.). S/he is also required to support on all marketing campaigns including offline/online events. 

Duties
  • Design marketing collateral including merchandise and artworks for all gaming products
  • Continuously discover and deliver fresh, high quality artwork designs
  • Take on multiple projects to ensure smooth launch of marketing campaigns
  • Review final layouts and suggesting improvements if required
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Be able to come up with new design concept related to gaming products by maintaining the brand guidelines
  • Be able to support on video edit and media production when required
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by line manager
Requirements
  • University Student or Bachelor in related field

Report Line: Marketing Manager

Purpose

The Media Production Coordinator works with Sabay team to produce content including but not limited to video content and live-streaming for all Sabay’s gaming products.

Duties
  • Lead and produce fresh, new engaging contents in the forms of video, live-stream or article for E-sport purposes
  • Collaborate with Content Creators to write up script and storyboard
  • Work with Event & Promotion team to monitor live-streamers’ performance, produce headlines and copy for live-streamers to promote Sabay games
  • Plan, deliver and evaluate production plans for gaming video projects, on time and in collaboration with relevant project staff
  • Ensure that the production operates with Sabay Guidelines and meets the needs of the audience
  • Coordinate with Finance, and external suppliers etc. to ensure that props and equipment are obtained and in usable form before shoots
  • Stay up to date and integrate trends in video and production (format, styles, tone and topics)
  • Share and accept feedback on improving the quality of content (e.g. appeal, format etc.) 
Requirements
  • At least 3-year experience in video production or live-streaming
  • Proven ability to effectively plan and execute video projects and live-streaming
  • Passion for film and video, staying up to date on the latest trends
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Excellent in negotiation and problem solving
  • Proficient in Khmer and English
  • Reliable and able to work autonomously and under pressure to deliver against deadlines
  • Able to use Microsoft Office
  • Ability and willingness to frequently work outside of regular hours e.g. on evenings and weekends Sabay offers Time Off in Lieu for hours worked

  • Contribute to social media and content research to come up with fresh, new engaging content with internal team for all Sabay games
  • Work on social media content and scheduling tasks for all the games
  • Follow up across the teams, making sure the weekly tasks are completed according to plan
  • Assist in setting up events (offline/online) when required
  • Be able to support on writing marketing copy in Khmer (English is a plus)
Requirements
  • 2-3 years-experience in marketing, management or related field. Fresh graduate is also encouraged to apply
  • Bachelor degree in marketing, management or related field
  • Being friendly and conversational, and love to play games
  • Being dynamic and smart, willing to learn and do new things beyond what is required
  • Being detail-oriented, team player
  • Being comfortable with Microsoft Office
