Quantity Surveyor
Duties, Responsibilities
Expectations - - Assist in establishing a client's requirements
- Prepare and analyze project costings for tenders, such as materials, quantities, labour and time
- Prepare tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities with the architect and/or the client
- Negotiate contracts and work schedules
- Allocate work to subcontractors and oversee their work at all stages of the construction
- Perform risk, value management and cost control during construction
- Undertake cost analysis for repair and maintenance project work
- Advise on a procurement strategy and maintain relationship with suppliers throughout contract
- Identify, analyse and develop responses to commercial risks
- Provide advice on contractual claims and disputes
- Analyse outcomes and write detailed progress reports
- Value completed work, oversee bills and arrange payments
- Maintain awareness of the different building contracts in current use
- Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering
- At least 2 years experience in Engineering field
- Good understanding of current best practice in site engineering works
- Good command of English
- Good integrity, positive attitude, helpful, high commitment, competence and motivation.
- Good personality and able to work under pressure
- Excellent communication skills, be able to handle guest and conversation and problems
- Good computer literacy including technical programs
Structural Engineer
Duties, Responsibilities
Expectations - - Prepare reports, designs and drawings.
- Make calculations about pressures, loads and stresses.
- Consider the strength of construction materials and select appropriately.
- Provide technical advice on safe designs and construction.
- Obtain planning and/or building regulations approval.
- Analyze configurations of the basic components of a structure.
- Liaise with professional staff such as architects and engineers.
- Monitor and inspect all work undertaken by contractors to ensure structural soundness.
- Administer contracts and manage projects.
- Inspect properties to evaluate the conditions and foundations.
- Use computer aided design technology for simulation purposes.
- Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (essential).
- Experience as a Structural Engineer (essential).
- Experience in project management.
- Advanced knowledge of construction methods, materials and legal regulations.
- Sound understanding of physics and mathematics.
- Ability to liaise with professionals from other disciplines.

Expectations - - Identifying future hiring needs and developing job descriptions and specifications – for internal and External Companies.
- Be part of leading the creating of a new Company to offer recruitment services to COmpanies across Phnom Penh.
- Collaborating with department managers to compile a consistent list of requirements and preparing assessments of candidates.
- Attracting suitable candidates through advertising and maintaining databases of CVs, engaging with online employment forums, social media, etc.
- Conducting interviews and sorting through applicants to fill open positions – internal AND external.

- Registration of new Companies’ Licenses at the different Ministries
- Dealing with all aspects of Company and Business Registration in Cambodia.
- Trying to actively promote our business registration services to new potential Companies and targets.

Marketing Executive
Duties, Responsibilities
Expectations - - You will help develop Staarch’s growth strategy, execution and optimization of all marketing initiatives through strong analytical skills and properly managed timelines with the focus of maximizing speed and effectiveness of bringing in new clients
- You will support the Business Development Manager across all forms of Marketing campaigns
- You will actively try and pursue new business opportunities for the Company through marketing lines established by the Business Development Manager.
- You will make outbound sales calls to try and grow the CRM system and to try and schedule appointments for senior Managers to pitch our Company services.
- You will closely monitor, track and report analytics to ensure they align with our growth KPI’s and ensure you hit your targets. You will be targeted on calls made, new business opportunities uncovered and engagement.
