About the job:
As our Head of Operations, you will be responsible for setting up and optimizing processes, while running the day to day operations of the business:
- Lead the Operations team - Manage a team of 10+ people and 2,000+ riders
- Lead Operations strategy - Challenge the status quo and find innovative ways to improve the operations ecosystem
- Full ownership of Operations P&L
- Analyze and track KPIs to improve the delivery setup and overall operational performance, and take customer experience to the next level
- Scale and maintain our rider fleet - Ensure a constant and adequate inflow of rider supply and focus on rider retention, community and engagement
- Competitive Intelligence - Keep active track of competitors and stay ahead of the curve, in competitiveness and innovation
- Feedback on tech product and manage roll-outs - Ensure seamless app and feature roll outs to improve operational efficiency and user (rider/ops team) experience
- Support other departments with operational guidance and resources
- Lead the strategy and expansion of our Cloud Kitchens project (managing and opening facilities from which we operate delivery-focused restaurants)
- You have successfully completed a Bachelor’s degree; Master’s degree is a strong plus
- You have at least 3 year of work experience in operations, consulting, banking or a high growth start-up
- You have strong leadership and communication skills, work independently and are reliable
- You are process-oriented and data-driven
- Experience with Microsoft Office, especially Excel, or Google equivalents
- Your knowledge of the internet and e-commerce sector is solid
- You are driven and ambitious
- You are very proactive and could lead independent projects
- Excellent English skills complete your profileCambodian native only with proficiency in English
Procurement Manager
- Support in building the local procurement team, as part of the broader Global Procurement Organization.
- Implement regional category management in alignment with global strategies through partnership with cross-functional teams and knowledge of market best practices.
- Take on local category management responsibilities, develop an efficient and balanced supplier base, build good business relationships, and drive supplier performance by using appropriate metrics and scorecards.
- Ensure that all APAC procurement policies and procedures are adhered locally.
- Oversee the contracting process including administration, archiving and post-execution.
- Provide procurement training for the procurement team and broader organization.
- Continually innovate and develop tools and processes to automate, streamline and improve the procurement function.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Finance, Accounting, Business or related discipline.
- At least 3 years in Procurement, ideally with experience building/developing procurement functions from ground up.
- Experience in local supplier management, contract management, and strategic sourcing.
- Results oriented and metrics-driven, with very good communication skills.
- Excellent communications skills (both oral and written) in English and Chinese.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups of people across all organizational levels.
- Willingness and ability to adapt to a rapidly changing and high-growth startup environment.
Finance Marketing Manager

New Business Manager
- Leadership of new business creation, coordinating efforts for all project’s verticals
- Ownership of P&L for a new business: drive top-line revenues while optimizing bottom-line expenses
- Recruit, onboard and coach a high-performing team to achieve ambitious targets
- Plan and manage a successful launch, ensuring all aspects of the launch are well executed
- Drive the Commercial team to actively reach out to key suppliers, negotiate great deals and maintain a strong, ongoing relationship
- Drive the operational team to ensure speed, efficiency and scalability of Ops processes
- Balance high-level strategic thinking with hands-on execution
- Keep a close eye on commercial, operational and financial KPIs; step in when certain metrics need improvement
- Liaise closely with regional teams and with other countries to understand best practices and tailor it to local needs
- This Position only available for Cambodian Citizenship only
- Prior experience in starting a business from scratch and managing a P&L is a strong asset
- PMO experience - understanding the basics of all functions, especially operations and commercials
- Very high level of ownership and entrepreneurial drive
- Ability to work in an ambiguous environment
- Stakeholder Management - work with local & regional leadership to align on priorities and highlight bottlenecks
- Excellent organizational and leadership abilities
- Outstanding communication and people skills
- Prior experience in FMCG/Groceries not a must, but highly preferred
City Manager
- Find the potential location for foodpanda’s new city branch
- Take ownership of the launch of a new segment
- To establish, maintain and manage good relationship with the customers, vendors, and prospects and be committed to delivery of the highest level of service
- Hiring and managing delivery motorbike riders’ fleet
- Hire, train and develop local team of cashiers, delivery captains, couriers and others
- Handle onboarding and offboarding of riders and dispatchers
- Coordination with cross functional departments to ensure full spectrum of smooth launch (marketing, operations, sales and finance)
- Ensure that service levels are maintained (keep in mind fail rates and delivery times)
- Measure performance and growth using appropriate system, tools and techniques (SQL)
- Bachelor's degree in business, economics, or related field.
- 3 - 5 years’ experience in operations and management
- High level of independence, self-confidence and responsibility
- Experience working in a fast paced and dynamic environment
- Able to work cohesively, detail-oriented, organized with the ability to multitask
- This role is based in Battambang City
- Be able to relocate to another province
- Cambodian native only with proficiency in English
