PURPOSE OF POSITION
- Assist the Sponsorship Team Leader (SPL) in the effective implementation and monitoring of the sponsorship tasks.
- Lead the effective implementation of child sponsorship activities across target villages, ensuring the enrollment and maintenance of a high-quality caseload.
- Build the capacity of community volunteers and maintain strong partnerships with local authorities to ensure sustainable support for children and families.
- Serve as a primary advocate for children’s rights and gender equality, ensuring all field operations strictly adhere to safety standards and protection policies.

- Support sponsorship commitments across at least 3 communes, from 15- 20 villages.

- This position is based in RTK office and in the commune council building. 80% of time is spent working in the field and 20% working in the Ratanakri office. The position requires travel on motorbikes between villages in all possibility conditions and sometime require overnight stay at the communities as needed.

- Accurately encode and manage child profile data and photos in the ChildData system, ensuring all processing targets and documentation standards are met.
- Track and validate the status of the 3,000-child caseload, including managing cancellations and child absences to maintain an accurate database.
- Provide administrative support for sponsor visits and field staff training while ensuring the highest standards of child safeguarding and data privacy.
- FUNCTIONS AND TASKS
- Jobholder Plan:
- This role implements and facilitates operational activities and relevant policies and processes relating to Sponsorship and deliver on time and to a high standard to support child sponsorship commitments.
- Administers approximately 3,000 sponsors and sponsored children caseload, and works closely with Sponsorship Officers in the field

- Translate all Sponsored Child (SC) and sponsor letters with good quality and timeliness and screen for inappropriate content and photos before distribution / sending out.
- Encode and upload all SC profile data and photos into ChildData system accurately to meet processing targets.
- Record, follow up and validate the list of the absent SCs to identify whether they are temporarily or permanently absent, and follow up and process SC cancellations submitted with required criteria.
- Assist the training of SOs and volunteers on sponsorship communication based on new sponsorship manual and provide feedback on the quality of sponsorship communications received from SCs.

- To ensure the good collaboration Local Authorities, DoE/DTMT, SDs, and relevant stakeholders/partners related to Mekong CCOSC project and cohesion with D&D approach
- To ensure mainstreaming child protection and child participation into projects (design, implementation, monitoring and evaluation)
