 Our school is the newest member of the Shrewsbury family of schools to open for business, and our business is the 'serious fun' of learning. We are deeply connected to one of the most prestigious schools in the UK, Shrewsbury School, which is almost 500 years old and has nurtured distinguished alumni such as the famous naturalist Charles Darwin.

Our primary school opened in 2022 and this year, in September 2026, our new world class school, for all age groups, will open in a spectacular 7 hectare campus in Sen Sok.

Position Overview

The Deputy Facility Manager supports the Facility Manager in overseeing the daily operations, maintenance, safety, and functionality of the school campus. The role is responsible for assisting in the management of facilities services, contractor coordination, maintenance programs, health and safety compliance, and operational support to ensure a safe, efficient, and well-maintained learning environment.

The position plays a key role in supervising day-to-day maintenance activities, responding to operational issues, supporting campus projects, and ensuring facilities services are delivered to high international standards. The Deputy Facility Manager will work closely with internal departments, external vendors, and facilities staff to support uninterrupted school operations and continuous improvement across the campus.

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Facilities Operations and Maintenance
  • Support the daily operation, inspection, and maintenance of all campus buildings, classrooms, offices, sports facilities, utilities, and common areas.
  • Assist in implementing preventive and corrective maintenance programs to ensure all facilities remain safe, functional, and well-maintained.
  • Coordinate maintenance activities for HVAC, electrical, plumbing, generators, lighting, water systems, and fire safety equipment.
  • Monitor facility conditions and respond promptly to maintenance requests and operational issues.

  • The Head School Nurse operates as a member of the school’s professional management team, with responsibilities that extend beyond clinical care:
