Software Development Officer-Senior Executive

Position Circumstances

Position Summary

Location: Head Office

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development of applications, APIs, and system integrations using modern frameworks and technologies.
  • Write efficient, maintainable, and scalable code following best practices and coding standards.
  • Ensure proper documentation of technical specifications, designs, and processes.
  • Design and implement system architectures that ensure performance, scalability, and security.
  • Collaborate with infrastructure and database teams to optimize system performance.
  • Integrate applications with third-party services, APIs, and enterprise platforms.
  • Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and code reviews.
  • Work with QA teams to identify and fix bugs or performance bottlenecks.
  • Ensure compliance with security and data protection standards.
  • Contribute to project planning, estimation, and delivery schedules.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.
  • Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
  • Stay updated with emerging software development trends and tools.
  • Recommend new technologies, frameworks, and methodologies for continuous improvement.
  • Prepare lessons and materials for training/seminars; coordinate or participate in the training/seminars of in-house software.
  • Helps and supports users; responds to all related issues such as policy change, error/issue, maintenance and development of In-house software/system.
  • Checks and monitors to all in-house system configurations and functionality following IT policy of the company.
  • Ensures that the In-house system produces reports on time and supplies the reports to appropriate management.
  • Support and handle tasks assigned by management.
Expected Profile of Candidates
Languages:
  • English - Fluent
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in (or higher) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
Work History:
  • Professional experience in software development for 3 to 5 years
Skills & Knowledge:
General & Technical Skills
  • Proven track record of leading or contributing significantly to mid-to-large software projects.
  • Experience with enterprise application development in .NET, Java, or other modern frameworks.
  • Strong knowledge of programming languages (C#, Java, Python, or equivalent).
  • Experience with relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL).
  • Familiarity with web technologies (ASP.NET Core, Angular/React, RESTful APIs), and middleware.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) is a plus.
  • Proficiency in version control tools (Git, GitHub, GitLab).
  • Experience in Agile/Scrum project management.
  • Exposure to DevOps practices (CI/CD, containerization, Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Prior experience in financial services, fintech, or enterprise systems.
  • Fluency in written and oral English.
Soft Skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Report Analysis Officer-Senior Executive

Position Circumstances

Position Summary

Location: Head Office

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Join UAT on Core Banking and other system related to Credit Operations.
  • Assist to prepare Business Requirements Document for Change Request.
  • Hight response on reporting all required reports to related persons regularly.
  • Analyzing all required reports (quantitative and qualitative) regularly.
  • Verifying the related information with branches and related departments.
  • Conducts and directs management studies on new methodologies/ approaches to improve field operations and sustain/ improve company viability and profitability.
  • Ensure credit information/ dashboard is analyzed and report to Deputy Head of Business and Credit Operation Department.
  • Ensure credit reports are consolidated and sent to relevant stakeholders.
  • Regularly assess credit risk for LOLC loan products and operations activities then provide recommendation for risk mitigation strategy.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Unit Manager and management.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Banking/Finance or Business Management or equivalence.

  • Strong product development and policy development skills.
  • Experience in small retail banking financial operations.
  • Experience in training and adult learning behavior for people with no finance/
  • business background.
  • Familiar with emerging issues related to microfinance industry in Cambodia.
  • Computer literate in spreadsheet, database and work processing programs.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.

MIS Officer-Java (Core Banking)

Position Circumstances

Position Summary

Location: Head Office

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Learn and understand Core Banking system configuration and functionality.
  • Assist in assessment of the training needs, end-user coordinate, direct and participate in the training the use of MIS software.
  • Test new software release (participating in quality control team).
  • Ensures that the MIS computerized system produces reports on time and supplies the reports to appropriate management personnel.
  • Determines reports requirement for National Bank of Cambodia, funders, Managements with accuracy and timely submission.
  • Installs system software upon instructions from manager or another request.
  • Implements and coordinates the computer back-up/restore scheme.
  • Upload CBC data weekly and Monthly.
Expected Profile of Candidates
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or related fields
Work History:
  • Preferably with a minimum of MFIs/banking or relation fields for 2 years
Skills & Knowledge:
General & Technical Skills
  • T24 Core banking system experience.
  • Database skill: Microsoft Access, Microsoft SQL, Oracle, MYSQL etc….
  • Code experienced: SQL/Oracle, Microsoft Access, and VB.Net (both Application & Web application, C ++, ASP, JSP, Java, and PHP) and Crystal report etc…).
  • PC / Network knowledge (HW, System Software, LAN).
Soft Skills
  • Have strong leadership, motivating, problem solving and decision making skills.
  • Good communication skill.
