The L&D Coordinator is responsible for the seamless execution of all training programs across our outlets and Head Office. You will be the "right hand" to the L&D Lead, ensuring that every new hire has the materials they need, the training room is ready, and all performance records are accurately tracked. You play a vital role in maintaining the "Kungfu Kitchen" standard through organized support.
- Training Operations & Logistics:
- Set up training rooms, manage equipment (projectors, tablets), and ensure all training materials (manuals, kits) are ready for new hire orientations.
- Coordinate training calendars for new batches of outlet staff, ensuring they complete their first stage training before they employ to their specific location.
- Maintain attendance records of who has completed which training module to ensure 100% compliance.
- Administer competency assessments and coordinate 'Graduation Events' to certify that new hires have successfully completed the first stage training.
- Content & Digital Support:
- Upload training records and performance review scores into the HR system or tracking sheets.
- Support format training decks and manuals to be visually appealing and easy for outlet staff to understand.
- Performance Review Admin
- Send out performance review forms to Outlet Managers and Head Office staff on schedule.
- Collect completed reviews and flag any missing entries to the L&D Lead.
- Assist in updating the "Talent Pool" list based on recent performance scores and promotion recommendations.
- Experience in HR, Training, or Administrative role for 2 years
- Experience in an F&B environment is a bonus..

- Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel for tracking and PowerPoint for slides). Familiarity with basic video editing (CapCut/InShot) is a major plus.
- Must be highly detail-oriented. You are the person who notices if a training manual has a typo or if a trainee hasn't signed their safety form.
- Energetic and helpful. You will be interacting with many new hires who might be nervous on their first day.
- Willingness to travel occasionally to different outlets to assist with on-site training sessions.

As the Learning & Development Lead at Kungfu Kitchen, you are the guardian of Kungfu Kitchen’s standards. You will design and conduct first stage training for all new hires, manage the performance appraisal system, and build a succession pipeline. Your goal is to ensure that our workforce is not only well-trained but also has a clear path for promotion, reducing turnover and increasing internal talent mobility.
- Induction & Facilitate the Technical Training:
- First-Stage Training: Conduct mandatory orientation for all new outlet staff (Brand History, Culture, Customer Service Excellence, and SOPs) before they deploy to their respective locations.
- Create and update training manuals, video tutorials, and pocket guides for kitchen and floor operations.
- Implement a "Ready-to-Work" certification process to ensure quality control across all outlets.
- Performance Management:
- Design and manage the annual and semi-annual performance review cycles for both Outlet Staff and Head Office.
- Partner with Outlet Managers to ensure that individual performance targets align with the company’s growth goals.
- Train managers on how to give constructive feedback and conduct effective coaching sessions.
- Talent Management & Succession Planning:
- Create a "Talent Map" to identify high-potential (HiPo) employees ready for promotion (e.g., Server to Supervisor).
- Develop clear career maps so employees at all levels know exactly what they need to achieve to reach the next level.
- Regularly audit the skills of the current workforce and organize workshops to bridge any gaps.
- L&D or Training, specifically within F&B, Retail, or a high-volume service industry for 3 years
- Proven ability to stand in front of a group and deliver engaging, high-energy training sessions.
- Experience in managing Performance Management Systems (PMS) and interpreting performance data.
- Ability to influence Outlet Managers and Head Office leaders to take training and reviews seriously.

- Employer Branding & Market Awareness
- Create and manage content for our recruitment social media channels (LinkedIn, Telegram, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, etc.) to increase follower engagement and brand visibility.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with universities and vocational schools.
- Organize and lead university career talks, public job fairs, and industry networking events.
- Develop creative recruitment materials (flyers, digital ads, and presentation decks).
- Recruitment Operations & Strategy:
- Conduct mass recruitment by design and execute "Walk-in Interview" days to facilitate rapid hiring for new outlet openings.
- Manage full-cycle of hiring for all vacancies, from entry-level service staff to specialized Head Office roles.
- Partner with the Operations team to ensure 100% headcount fulfillment according to the "New Store Opening" timelines.
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, or a related field.
- Recruitment, preferably within the F&B, Retail, or Hospitality sectors. Experience in mass hiring is a significant plus for 3 to 5 years as a minimum
- Proven experience in managing professional social media accounts and creating engaging content.
- Exceptional public speaking skills for career talks and the ability to "sell" the company culture to candidates.
- Ability to manage multiple recruitment timelines simultaneously, especially during peak expansion periods.
