Reports To: Head of Accounting & Tax Services

Senior Accounting & Taxation Specialist at Making It Easy Co., Ltd. will deliver excellent client-based accounting and taxation services, and optional add-ons advisory services to clients. This role is to ensure compliance with Cambodian regulations, provide accurate and timely financial support, and contribute to retaining the company’s clients through high-quality service and relationship management at the highest rate.

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Client-Based Accounting Services:
  • Prepare accurate financial records, including bookkeeping and reconciliations, in alignment with client needs.
  • Assist clients in developing and managing their financial systems and records.
  • Generate monthly and annual financial reports for clients.
  • Prepare Financial Statement submission to ACAR ensuring compliance with deadlines and regulatory standards.
  • Client-Tax Compliance Services:
  • Manage the preparation and filings of monthly and annual tax returns for clients.
  • Ensure all tax submissions are completed on time, accurately and meet Cambodian regulatory standards.
  • Stay updated on Cambodian tax laws and advise clients on changes that may impact their businesses.
  • Client Retention and Relationship Management:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients by providing responsive and professional service to ensure the client’s satisfaction.
  • Conduct regular client check-ins to understand their evolving needs and address any concerns.
  • Work closely with clients to identify additional services that may enhance their business operations.
  • Compliance and Advisory Services:
  • Ensure all accounting and tax processes comply with local regulations and international best practices.
  • Provide 30 minutes free on tax consulting to the new clients after the business registration is approved by the relevant ministries.
  • Support in providing an Optional Add-Ons Advisory services to clients.
  • Identify tax-saving strategies and potential claims, and advise clients on tax implications and legal tax savings to enhance profitability
  • Perform comprehensive business compliance check-up
  • Support clients during audits or reviews by regulatory authorities.
  • Reporting and Updates:
  • Provide weekly progress updates to the Head of Accounting & Taxation on client projects.
  • Contribute to the development of internal templates and tools to improve service efficiency.
  • Address to the Head of Accounting and Taxation immediately after any issues arise which cause the roadblock of implementing the client projects.
  • Risk and Safety Management
  • Liaise with clients to clarify issues, asking clarification questions, and communicating clearly to ensure the consistency of the bookkeeping and tax filings.
  • Maintain detailed records of all financial and tax-related interactions with clients.
  • Perform a daily backup of client accounting software data to ensure you have a recent copy of your client data in case of data loss, technical issues, or other unforeseen circumstances. 
  • Maintain the confidentiality of the client’s information
  • Sale Supports:
  • Provide support to the Sales Team when needed to answer technical questions regarding the Accounting and Taxation Law.
  • Support in preparing the proposal and the service agreement for clients
  • Internal Supports:
  • Provide internal support to MiE when needed regarding the Accounting and Taxation issues.
  • Other tasks as assigned by direct supervisor

The Head of Market Entry & Business Relocation is responsible for leading and managing the strategic planning, execution, and optimization of services related to foreign market entry, investor relocation, visa, immigration, citizenship, and associated setup activities. This includes overseeing business tours, consultation, business visa, work permit, residence permit, insurance, and bank account support. The role is pivotal in ensuring a smooth, compliant, and supportive landing for investors and entrepreneurs entering the Cambodian market.

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Lead Market Entry & Relocation Services: Oversee the full range of relocation solutions including business tours, investor orientation, landing support, and onboarding.
  • Immigration & Personal Setup: Supervise client support for business visa, work permit, residence permit, health insurance, and personal/company bank account opening.
  • Citizenship by Investment: Manage end-to-end coordination of citizenship application processes, working with legal and government stakeholders to ensure accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Business Tour Management: Design and lead investor tours, coordinate with internal departments and external partners to deliver insightful and high-conversion experiences.

The IT Officer is responsible for providing day-to-day technical support, system administration, and user training to ensure smooth operation of the company’s IT infrastructure and digital platforms.

This role focuses on supporting non-technical users, maintaining internal systems such as MAQSU Accounting & Tax System, HR systems, Microsoft 365, and other digital tools, while also assisting with system integration, data security, and basic troubleshooting.

The IT Officer will play a key role in helping staff adapt to technology and improving overall digital literacy within the organization.

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • IT Support & Helpdesk
  • Provide daily IT support to staff for hardware, software, email, internet, and system access issues.
  • Troubleshoot common technical problems related to computers, printers, scanners, networks, and mobile devices.
  • Support staff in using Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Assist staff in using internal systems such as Maqsu Accounting & Tax System and HR systems.
  • Respond to IT support requests in a timely and professional manner.
  • System Administration & Maintenance
  • Manage user accounts, access rights, and permissions for internal systems and platforms.
  • Maintain and update company IT assets (computers, software licenses, system access lists).
  • Coordinate system setup for new employees (email, system access, devices).
  • Ensure regular system backups and basic data security practices are followed.
  • Liaise with external vendors or system providers for system issues, upgrades, or troubleshooting.
